I love the ambiance, the service is impeccable! I went with a group and I have to say the copper undertone taste in my chicken.... LEFT ME SPEECHLESS!!! I'm currently exiting the emergency room. I went in with a group and I exited alone. This place will want you coming back.

I got general chicken from "house of dumplings" on nord(which is also "windys" Chinese food) this piece of wire was in my chicken! I showed the cook and he blamed the manufacturer where he gets the chicken, even after explaining to me that, after they open the bag, they supposedly clean the chicken...then says I couldn't even get 15$ credit towards another meal because I ordered thru door dash,(door dash did credit me though) after showing them this picture...could of been worse if I swallowed it!! I guess he said it's from the wire sponge that the manufacturer uses to clean sinks with🙄suure

My buddy Joey hates this place! But since it’s names windys (like Wendy’s 4 fo 4) he loved it!
The food is very good, but they need to improve a little bit more on the environment like adding music to the restaurant etc.

I used dine here +25yrs ago while attending CSU Chico, came to the area and was hoping it was still around and survived the pandemic. To my delight it was there! I was a little uncertain when opened the door but I do admit I arrived in-between lunch & early dinner crowds at around 2pm. The place has changed some but trusted my gut that the food would still be awesome.
Ordered some of my favorite dishes and now family's favorites as well. I have to admit the food is as good as I had remembered. I plan to be in the area a bit more in the coming years and will be sure to get some to-go when I leave or eat-in like I had done on this trip. I generally prefer to support family run restaurants as opposed to the larger chain/franchise type restaurants. So for those who are conditioned to have super polished dining rooms, lighting, ambient music, and all that then you're missing out if you don't stop-by here and help the local independent establishments like this one.
Vegetarian options: This is tough; as, most vegetarians I know are typically really-really picky even when it comes to vegetarian food. Explore the options they have available.
