Great food made to order fresh in wok. My new/only go to for Chinese food in Chino Hills. Friendly service. Please support this small family business so I can continue to get great take out.

I absolutely love this Chinese food establishment. I have gone a few times and the food is always consistent and not overly salty. I have ordered egg drop soup with no corn, vegetable low mein, and sweet and sour chicken. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with the sauce on the side. I am not a fan of sweet and sour but this restaurant has the best sauce. It has good flavor without having a strong vinegar taste. My husband loves their orange chicken but beware, it is spicy! If you are looking for a friendly restaurant with freshly made Chinese food, give China Garden a try!

Such great food. Its made to order and has such great freshness, taste, and texture. I found my new Chinese food joint 🥹
Went on a whim to try it out sinxe I'm new to chino hills and glad we did. Cane with my sister and her bf and we got 4 entrees and shared them which was more than plenty of food.
The orange chicken was crunchy on the outside and perfect on the inside. Sauce had perfect taste as well.
The Combination Lo Mein was also perfect with the miz of chicken, shrimp, and beef and nothing was under/over cooked. Highly recommend that one. The noodles were bomb and well sauced.
The veggie Lo Mein had a good amount of veggies too but I didn't get much other than a bite from it.
The Broccoli chicken was good and I liked how well the chicken was cooked. Not over cooked and just tender enough to go so well with the broccoli. Highly recommend that one too.
I wish we tried the fried rice but that's definitely for next time.
They dont have a a big lobby but I honestly dont care, I prefer quality food iver a fancy atmosphere.
If you can, go for their lunch specials which end at 3pm because you can combine some things so its worth sampling different things!
The girl that helped us out was super chill and nice. I hope this place stays and get the clientele it needs to keep grinding 🙏🏽💪🏽
Update:
Lunch special is totally worth it 👌🏽👌🏽

Great food. I got the broccoli chicken and lived it. The food is fresh and made to order. The chicken has soft and juicy. The portions were large and good to share! The family was very kind and welcoming. Will be coming back to try more things! This was a photo of my plate halfway through!

I was really disappointed with my experience at China Garden. The food did not look anything like the pictures they advertise. The orange chicken was soggy, overly greasy, and just unappetizing overall. I spent $50 expecting a decent meal and ended up completely let down. I didn’t dine in, but when I went to pick up the food, the place was noticeably hot inside and they just had a fan running — not the best first impression. Definitely won’t be returning.

Too expensive
Wow, Yummy! Another excellent small business owner/chef. New business where the focus is on the delicious food in a tiny non-descript restaurant .( I am finding, in my travels, frills and decor should never be the reason to choose where to eat! When the restaurant's attention is on the food, it means delicious ) I had the honey walnut shrimp, a generous portion, especially if you order it with a side of noodles or rice. It could have fed 2 people. My boyfriend ordered the garlic chicken lunch special. We would definitely eat here again.
This is my 3th time I’m here food is soooo good fresh. They served my food very quick. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I finally got around to trying China Garden tonight and it was great! I've asked several people about it, and no one knows it's there! We got the Kung Pao Chicken and the Mongolian Beef. Both were delicious and tasted fresh and homemade--not takeout fake--but we loved the Kung Pao Chicken! 10/10! I'd say the Mongolian Beef was a 9/10. The beef and sauce were both good, but the Kung Pao Chicken just came together perfectly. My neighbor told me that she got the Eggplant and Tofu and also really enjoyed it. My husband picked up our order tonight, and he said that there was only one other couple there. Please try this place so that we can have yummy restaurants nearby! This place (and ShiFoo, which I also love) are so much better than the chain restaurants (ie, BJs, Applebees, Chilis) that everyone goes to! Pro Tip: Entrees are $6-$8 more if you order online, so call your order in if you want it to go. The person who answered the phone spoke perfect English and was able to answer my questions and tell me what was most popular. I had gotten a paper menu and mentioned the price difference, and she was the one who recommended to call in instead of ordering online. Also, unless you're starving, one entree with rice could probably feed 2.
I came here with my mom to try a new restaurant. We got the beef roll ($12.95), Mongolian triple delight ($21.95), hot and sour soup, shrimp with garlic sauce ($19.95), pan fried string bean ($14.95), combination fried rice ($17.95), and chicken lo mein ($13.95).
The beef roll was fine, not heavy with the cilantro and the sliced meat was tender. Our favorites were the hot and sour soup and Mongolian triple delight with comes with shrimp, beef, and pork with sliced green onions and white onions. The soup was a good portion and was nicely thick with a nice amount of seasoning. The other dishes were good but were salty; the portions were a good size and the meat was tender. The lo mein and combination fried rice were the saltiest of the dishes so my mom didn't eat those much. I'm fine with salt and even I thought those two dishes were overly salty. The shrimp with garlic sauce was slightly sweet and salty with bits of sliced bell peppers and woodear mushrooms. The string beans were cooked enough but had a crunch still. I would try the place again to see if the salt issue was a one-time thing.
The staff is nice, they have a few tables inside. The place is clean and a good parking lot size.

Quick, clean, delicious. Love the black pepper diced beef and my husband is obsessed with their country style pork! They have the staples, along with a good selection of unique dishes. All their food that we've ordered has been delicious! The staff are nice and accommodating and the place is clean. Not much seating available though as they are mainly takeout, but they have 4 tables and the largest seats 6. Our new go to Chinese restaurant!

3rd time coming here and tried something new each time. Very solid place! The flavors are great, and the tenderness of the meats are perfect. Better than any of the fancy sit-down restaurants.
