This is the worse Tofu soup that I never tried before. Compare to other Korean tofu house, Chodang tofu soup is bland, they said spicy but it’s not spicy. I can tell they use tomatoes paste to make the soup colorful, so the soup tasted a little bit weird, tomato flavor, it’s not like authentic Korean tofu soup.
All side dishes are average, the only thing tastes okay is grilled galbi beef ribs. The reason I came here for lunch cause I saw they have a better review than other Korean restaurants around Chino, but I won’t come back again for this food quality.
The customer service is average, not nice even they’re not busy at lunch time.

The server has mean face bad attitude..with a hate no smile..
This is not $10 -$20 rating. Every item including appetizers is around $15 and above. We ordered one combo and it came out to around $40. And they demand 15% tip, so know before you go.

Food is not great but ok. Service is very poor. Consider the quality of the food, the price and the service, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

The beef BBQ it’s really over cook lost the taste. The tofu soup it really bad. I don’t recommend this restaurant. Super unorthodox, the meat is very hot and the seasoning is very casual.

Went on a Monday night. There's only one person working cashier and tables but she does her best to keep up. I think the prices went up just like everywhere else because I thought I remember most dishes being $15 before, but I also could be remembering lunch prices rather than dinner.I got the kalbitang and it came out boiling, hence the picture. My boyfriend got the kimchi beef soondubu with medium spice (also boiling) and beef bulgogi combo. Both dishes were great, although I'm definitely more in favor of the kalbitang. We both really enjoyed the side dishes too and ended up asking for a refill.Overall, it's still a great place to eat. The kind of good food that you end up finishing when you thought you'd have leftovers. Looking forward to visiting again.
