We moved to a different city and I'll make the drive to get these donuts - best I've ever had. We don't bother getting donuts (or ham and cheese croissants) unless we go here. They never disappoint! A Local Hidden Gem You Can’t Miss. No, Seriously.
Okay, if you love donuts (who doesn’t?), you need to check this place out. They make their donuts fresh several times a day, so no sad, stale donuts here! only soft, pillowy perfection every single time.
They’ve got like 20–30 different kinds of donuts, plus breakfast sandwiches, croissants, fresh juices, smoothies… basically, if you’re hungry in the morning, they’ve got you covered.
Not to be dramatic but we’ve tried every donut shop within 25 miles and we still end up here every weekend. It’s that good.
Bonus? It’s family owned, and they somehow remember almost everyone’s name.
You’ll walk in twice and suddenly you’re part of the family. People come in, and it’s all, “Hey Mike! Hey Sarah! Hey Tony!” with big smiles. Just good vibes all around.
Long story short if you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out. Go get yourself a donut. Or five. No judgment.

Asked if they can make pink donuts little darker or make red donuts for a girls birthday party. The husband was saying sure we can do that, but the wife said No we don’t do that. pink is pink. Red is red. Try being more polite and less ugly inside. Your rudeness will be the reason why your business and marriage will fail. Donut star gets One Star
I have been there twice in two weeks. I can feel they have good relationships with their customers cause they greet almost everybody by name. The donuts are good but not extraordinary. They taste like the regular donuts you get from donut shops everywhere. Price is reasonable at $17.50 a dozen if you mix premium donuts with your dozen order and use a credit card. They charge extra $.50 cents for card transactions.
However, on both visits, I had to ask for my receipt. I feel like giving out receipts should be automatic. Hence, the 3 star for service. I just hope customers would always ask for their receipts so the store owners will have the habit of handing out receipts to everybody.

I will highly recommend this donut shop, Allen and his wife are two amazing individuals and super humble people, the atmosphere is very welcoming and all of there donuts are fresh, breakfast sandwiches and vanilla ice coffee are all delicious, the biggest one for me is Allen and his wife truly care about there customers, they make you feel at home and very welcoming. Ever since I found this amazing donut shop I well never go to any other donut shop and if I can’t make it to there amazing donut shop I’ll wait till I can go, Donut Star is ultimately become my #1 donut shop in all of Chino and Chino Hills.
