This location is too inconsistent. After their month long closure the food hasn’t been the same. I’ve noticed that the quality of the food has dropped and nothing ever tastes fresh. This was a place I would go to often and did enjoy coming here but whichever changes they’ve made are not working out.

I shouldve read the most recent reviews before going here!!! I 100% agree with other yelpers who said that this place is going downhill!! PLEASE STAY AWAY and dont waste your timeMy husband and i used to crave the chickens here, we stopped going because the store was closed for awhile and then we had the chance to return today thinking it was going to satisfy our cravings, but my goodness were we wrong. I am 100% sure they gave us 2days old fries because it was so stale and yucky, we could barely ate it. The chicken sandwich was pathetic - lack of flavors and texture.The place was so dead when we visited. They might go out of business if they dont improve.

As others have mentioned, the quality has disappeared. I used to LOVE hotties for their juicy chicken with great spicy flavor. I ordered a few weeks back for the first time in months (they were always closed for quite a few months before and was excited to finally see them open again). I received a thinly pounded piece of chicken that was burnt and crunchy. The chicken was so hard, it bent my permanent bottom retainer when I took a bite. The quality is just not the same as before. I hope ownership reads these reviews and make the necessary changes to make their food great again. I loved the original recipe so much and hope they can go back to what made them successful before and stop cutting corners.

Where to start? I've read the recent reviews and 100% agree! Hotties was my go-to for a crunchy, juicy, legit spicy and delicious chicken. The sauce was really GOOD and gives a nice balance to the spicy chicken and fries. What did I get today? I got a thin, dried, soggy, bland, dry chicken. There was some spice but there wasn't even any flavor. The sauce was a sad excuse and it's like you went to a completely different store! My recommendation? STOP GOING TO THIS STORE SO THEY'LL BE OUT OF BUSINESS, UNLESS THEY GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL RECIPE!

The joy I had when looking forward to picking up some of the best hot chicken around is no more. Like so many here have said, it's just not the same. The quality has steadily declined over the last year+ as the prices have jumped. It's wildly inconsistent from the taste to the service. Hotties is no longer an option when needing that hot chicken fix. A true disappointment.

All the recent reviews are accurate. We used to love this place. First time going in a while and so disappointed. Barely any meat and overcooked batter. And super skimpy on the sauce. Feels like new ownership that has a terrible sense of business. They clearly are not listening and changing their ways. I should have read reviews before going.

I’ve eaten here twice and it was good food. I’ve tried to eat here again about three times and every time it is closed. Once there was a sign saying they didn’t have employees and the other two times there was nothing it was just empty. It’s awful to make your customers think you are open with your hours posted online and then for them to drive to your restaurant to not get the food they went for.

Haven't been to Hotties in a while, and the first thing I noticed was that the chicken is no longer thick and juicy but rather flat and less juicy. I also found that some of the feathers were not fully plucked from this chicken. The other thing we noticed is that you now order at a kiosk instead of having good customer service at the counter. This is the last time I will try the food at this location. I will give the Hottie's location in Brea another try, assuming it retained original ownership and recipe. If not, It's sad to see something great become mediocre.

Everything here is getting worse. The fountain machine went down, so we got a glass bottle coke from a staff, and the coke tasted like it has been expired. The chicken tenders were so dry and the fries were too hard.

What happened to this place? They temporarily close for a month, then come back with the worst sandwiches. I ordered 2 sandwiches (medium spice) combo. Both were not spiced at all, and the chicken patty was so overcooked and crunchy. The didn't even put up a sign that say the soda dispenser was not carbonating, so i got back home with completely flat soda. Honestly the sandwich was inedible. I'm going to see if I can get a refund on this order. Probably the last time i come here. Seems like they need to close longer and figure things out.

It was a boring day… I went here and all of my problems were fixed! I LOVE the service, the guy was SUPER friendly, and I couldn’t help but SMILE at HIS smile.. The food and sauce was tooooo good, and I am just in love.. 5 STARS!!

First off would like to say I really don’t like that they make you order through a kiosk. Covid is over and they have their bench seating blocked off where they still don’t allow you to sit inside at 90 degree weather. The music was really loud and annoying almost couldn’t hear myself think. You have to be careful bc if you click pay now at the kiosk it will automatically charge you a 22% fee which is outrageous considering you can’t even eat inside. It’s a $20 chicken sandwich and they still demand a tip on top of it, so they sell over priced chicken sandwiches and they still want you to pay for their workers service when they’re not even helping you take an order. On top of it all I ordered MILD for my daughter and the order came out more like spicy. She said it was so hot she took one bit and couldn’t finish it.
