Best Korean street food restaurant in Chino Hills!! It's our favorite spot!! Chef Kenny's cooking is always on point. Servers (I'd name everyone but some of them are sadly gone) are always so attentive and welcoming, including the owner Jack who also acknowledges us when he is there. It makes us feel special when they remember their regulars. Love the vibe here and would at least come once a week with no regrets!! See you soon again ya'll :)

Ever think to yourself about finding a restaurant with an experience, a vibe, fun, and great food?

INSSA is the place to be! You will be seated at a table with water and an encyclopedia about all the different dishes they serve, which is broken down into every single bit and piece of what is in the food and drinks they serve. So you won't have to worry about feeling like you are not aware of what you are eating, bit and piece, bit and piece. The encyclopedia The encyclopedia, lol.
Everything that is served there is made with so much love and deliciousness; it will have you wanting for more because I sure as h3ll that served did. My landfill, I sure as h3ll did. Because h3ll I wanted to raid the kitchen for some more of that bulgogi pasta.

Their drink menu might be simple and small, but hey, at least for my indecisive girlies, you won't have to rack your brain about deciding what drinks you want to have that day.

If you are a steamed egg girlie like I am, then they will serve you the most delicious smelling and tasting giant hot stone pot of it and will have you drooling over it before you can start drowning yourself in it.

Don't even get me started on their pasta and chicken wings. The bulgogi pasta may look like a regular Joe plate, but it is beyond delicious because, let me tell you, my friend and I were having an internal fight over who would have the last few bits. The dang chicken was so damn good I could not stop eating it. It was the juiciest chicken I have ever had at a restaurant. I am very picky with my meats because I am always scared about ordering dishes with meats that are being overcooked. Overcooked meat is not the best-tasting type of meat. But INSSA's chicken wings were juicy and soft that sh*t fell off the bone.

If you need a good place to go and a place to be because life is hard, and you need an excuse to drink and have a good meal on a random weekday, INSSA is the place to be.
Because INSSA is the place to be and the place to INSStay

Delicious dishes and cool vibes here at Inssa! We had the corn appetizer, bulgogi tacos, bulgogi pasta, and kimchi pancakes! All dishes were beyond my expectations.

First of all, as a person who has been to pretty much all the Korean bars in the LA and OC area including Rowland heights, Diamond Bar, etc, I would have to say this is definitely the top 3.
I already re-visited more than 5 times with family and different groups of friends since they opened.
I cook most Korean foods at home including all these drinking foods but have to say the food is so authentic and the portions are huge!!!
Ambience is great, music is just perfect loudness, and they put up projectors with music videos like all the cool bars in LA do.
It’s in the new busy area of Chino Hills but the parking is always ample and is super easy to get to also.
Everyone that i brought here with me ended up coming back with their other friends too so that says it all!!

i suck at taking pictures but here are a few i have lol

Strongly recommend!!

Kid-friendliness: Brought my nephew few times and my friend’s kids also, very kids friendly!

Hubby and I were greeted by huge screens displaying kpop music videos, specifically V's song "FRI(END)S" as we entered and I knew it was going to be a good night with good vibes. They also have cute decor with many photo ops as you head towards the restroom.

Hubby and I wanted a late night snack so we ordered the kimchi pasta and the chicken wings. Kimchi pasta had a creamy taste with kimchi and bacon bites to it and the chicken wings were crispy with juicy meat on the inside. Let's say our "snack" definitely hit the spot. Highly recommend!

Service was also on top of it and food came out fairly quickly! Jack was very welcoming and gave us a lock to write a little note to put on the new lock wall!

The vibes, food and service were on point and hubby and I will definitely be back!

Food was very very good. Impressed. Prices were on the $20 per plate side. But the portions were about $20 per plate too. You get what you paid for, presentation and taste. I'll be back again probably get to-go if you offer it. Also PLEASE bring skewers to the menu. I know they will be a big hit!

My first impression was that the store had a nice atmosphere and was clean, but the food was even better! I think I'll come here often because it's easily accessible :)

We have been looking for Korean Bar spots in this area. This restaurant is small but heavily themed. We got the Tteoboki, Popcorn Chicken, Corn Cheese, Yakult Soju. The Popcorn Chicken is a bit on the sweeter end and the Tteoboki is spicy. The soju is a higher quality it seems. This is a great place for larger groups.

Parking: There is a plaza type of parking.

I came here with friends to celebrate a friend's birthday and ordered two dishes. It took 30-40 mins for the food to come out. It was a pretty small amount for the total price ($47) and was also okay, but not the point nor the main reason for the low review.

During this time, no one checked in with us or our order, and no one refilled our water when it went out. We were unsatisfied with our overall experience in both food and service, so we left a small tip. This is the first time my friends and I have left a small tip like this.

After we paid and walked back into our car, before we drove off the owner approached us. We were already sat in our car when he signalled that he wanted to talk to us. We rolled down the windows and he asked if we found anything unsatisfactory. We said the food took a really long time and he said something along the lines of "oh that's why the tip is like that," then brushed us off.

I understand asking a customer who tipped low to understand why and how to improve service, but we all felt that he came at us in a condescending and passive aggressive manner. My friends and I have never had this happen to us, and we are immensely disappointed. I typically don't write reviews and this is the first negative review I've ever written for a restaurant.
