Been on a noodle craving lately and JJ noodle house is one of those places that we passed by many times but never tried. Super friendly staff Order on your phone and they'll start bringing things to the table ---beef stew noodle soup: tender beef, chewy hand cut noodles ---wonton soup: just okay to me but just what hubby was looking for The restaurant is very very small but luckily we didn't have to wait! One gripe is they're still serving dishes in take out containers when you're dining in which really takes away from the experience

The food was really good and for a good price! We were able to get a table right away around 8 pm on a Wednesday night but i t got busy pretty soon after. It's a small place with only a few workers so they're doing their best. Great place to dine for authentic Taiwanese/Chinese food!

My Girlfriend and I used to enjoy this place, it is close to home. The service is always great and the staff is always very nice. But lately the food has seemed salty. Broccoli beef seemed like it has a lot of salt. Previously, the spicy crispy chicken was also salty, this last time it was not so much.

Great food! Not sure if I was just hungry but everything I tried was delicious!! Great job with covid precautions. Everything is served on single use plates. Menu is on QR code. May order your items and pay on your phone. Food came out fast and scalding hot! Practically burning my mouth with each dish! Pepper salted fried squid was my favorite. Will definitely go back.

Solid items. Didn't get noodles but everything was very tasty, prices were reasonable, portions were pretty good, service was pretty fast, and the front desk male attendant was very kind.

I came here to try a new place for lunch with family. We chose to get salt and pepper shrimp ($13.99), hot and sour soup ($9.99), chicken chow mein ($10.99), and Yangzhou fried rice ($12.99). The shrimp was a good size and crispy. The chow mein and fried rice were good and had a good amount of sliced pork. The fried rice had alot of sliced sweet Chinese pork. They serve on foam and paper plates. The staff is nice.

THE BEST CHINESE FOOD I HAVE HAD. I believe the restaurant is family owned and it's located in Chino Hills, in the 99 Ranch Market plaza. JJ Noodle House is a top 3 choice for my girlfriend and I whenever we want to eat somewhere that is comfortable but also extremely delicious. While most places try to win you over with fancy words, expensive packaging, and overall flashy advertising, JJ Noodle House seems pretty plain from the outside (but the food is definitely not). Once you enter, normally someone will greet you from the register and you'll be seated. Sometimes they get extremely busy with dine-in and take-out, so you may not be seated right away. At the table, there will be a QR code with the website menu, and you'll actually order from there too. Food always seems to be prepared fresh so expect to wait about 10-15 minutes! My personal favorites that I always order are: Eggplant w/ Basil 8/10: The eggplant is tender but not too the point where it's mushy, which is great! The sauce they use with the eggplant is rich in flavor and goes well with the fresh bite of the basil. Fried Crispy Tofu 9/10: Super simple selling points. It's made fresh and it comes out piping hot, the batter is super light and easy to stomach, unlike other places where the tofu feels saturated in oil, and the tofu itself almost melts in your mouth from how soft it is. Ma Po Tofu 7.5/10: Classic Ma Po Tofu with lots of differing flavors. You have the numbing chili, savory aspects, a bit of umami and saltiness, and some sweetness. Definitely order this if you're in that szechuan mood. Spicy Crispy Chicken 9/10: Delicious chicken with very crispy skin. The spice is mild in my opinion, and it will also have the numbing spicy feeling too. Fish Fillet w/ Sweet & Sour 10/10: The best sweet and sour fish I've ever had. This dish along with the tofu, put JJ Noodle House in my top 3. The batter is so well done as it remains crisp even though it's coated in the sweet and sour sauce. What stands out the most to me is the quality of the fish they serve you. Just like the tofu, the fish remains extremely tender and you definitely taste the freshness! The fish also comes in many other flavors. Other notable mentions I've had are the Fish Fillet w/ Seaweed and Fish Fillet w/ Black Bean Sauce. Since I don't want the review to be too long, I'll end it here. Outside of the items I rated, there are other great dishes I've tried but if I listed them all I would be sitting here for another 20 minutes. I highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for delicious Chinese food.

The place seems rather small but the atmosphere is welcoming and warm. We were greeted by the nicest server ever. We placed our order quickly and within minutes we had our fresh food right before us. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Edward was the one who brought us the check at the end and even gave take-out menus and was friendly and approachable. I will definitely be coming back here more often if I am in the area.

Here's a list of what we got. Service was fast and friendly! A11 green beans w/garlic - excellent and not overcooked A31 fish fillet w/seaweed - this is their best dish - not overfried and perfectly seasoned E6 shrimp chow mein - very Americanized - didn't love A1 egglant w/basil - my sister said it was wonderful A22 chicken broccoli - nothing special here Prices were reasonable. Indoor seating could use updating.

First time here and very good I must say. Service was fantastic and friendly which honestly is not common around this area. We ordered conservative since this was our first time but definitely interested on trying their other dishes. Shrimp chow me in was delicious and will try it next time with the hand cut noodles. Fried salt and pepper squid was great. Orange chicken was great as well. Food was fresh and portions were very good. Can't wait to come here again.

Paid $12.99 for the shredded pork with eggplants. It came in a medium sized plastic plate. The portion is small. On top of that, the cook gave not much stringy pork as compared to the vegetables. I had to basically look for the pork in the mush. Not going back there. Not worth it the price I paid for. This restaurant is too stingy.

I would come back here. Ordered the Sour Spicy Noodle Soup with Pork and ChaChiang Noodles. Both were satisfying and yummy. I was a little confused about my ChaChiang noodles. It says dry noodle but what I received was pretty soupy. Still good but I try think I would have preferred way less broth. Still I would come back again to eat.

Not sure if this was the same restaurant I visited years ago but if it is.....it definitely aged well. A friend recommended this restaurant and I am glad they did. The restaurant is adjacent to the 99 Ranch Market and is a cozy restaurant that was around 5-7 tables. When we went there were only a handful of people dining in but the majority I noticed ordered online for pickup. The food was served in to go like containers or disposable paper ware. I am assuming it's because it's easier to clean or ease of transport. Whatever the reason was I did not like it. I felt that the portions was smaller and the overall presentation was not the best. A little thing but it was something I noticed. The food here is good. The yang zhou was delicious and my son loved the Chinese sausage in there. The wonton in chili oil was good too. It wasn't too hot and when I mixed it w the rice it was also a good combo. The Dan Dan......well it wasn't what I was expecting. It was okay but it tasted like peanut butter on noodles. The noodles had a creamy consistency and it was unique but I was taken aback w the peanut butter flavor. Overall I like JJ. I'll definitely come back. This time get some veggies or try one of their specials. Yum
