We were hungry and on our way to Palm Springs. We finally decided on a Mediterranean restaurant. On the way, we saw Las Cascadas which we both decided to try. We sat in the bar and had dinner and it was absolutely the best shrimp and enchiladas ever imagined. Highly recommend this place. Even though we rarely leave our local area, this was well worth the drive. Well be back.
I got the carne asada plate with a horchata, the horchata was okay not too sweet not too cinemomey. The carne asada surprised me, it was tender and the flavours were nice. I have had many carne asada but this takes the cake for flavour and texture. The beans were nice and so was the rice, enjoyed the guacamole it came with and will come here again to get the same thing. It's indoor dining and the wait was 10 mins for me.
Service was great, food was great. Have no complaints. I ordered tacos during taco Tuesday and thought they were very good. Only been once, so can't speak for rest of the menu but I enjoyed the tacos. Would recommend you give it a try if craving Mexican.
