Change your Bun Rieu back to non-spicy version. Why change that? Its inedible to me now. If it goes back to the way it was, i'll change my review.

I entered and ordered the beef pho and a calamari appetizer. I loved both of them. The broth was very delicious and had a lot of flavor and there was a ton of noodles! Initially, I thought the small bowl was their large bowl lol. Definitely worth getting if you are hungry, maybe a large size since the waiter suggested a large would be a good choice if you are VERY hungry. The calamari appetizer was served with pickled vegetables and both were very savory. I might order just the vegetables next time lol, i thoroughly enjoyed it. Also the waiter who helped me was very funny and kind which made the dine in experience a lot better! I really enjoyed Pho Sj Chino Hills

Tldr don't come. This place reminds me of a traditional street market in Asia. Very noisy with multiple songs playing at the same time. The noodles are over cooked and soft, good for my grandpa tho. The Vietnamese coffee uses cheap ingredients, not freshly made like other places, nothing special and definitely not worth the money.

Very expensive compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in Chino Hills. The grilled pork chop is undercooked and some parts of the pork chop is burned. I would never come here again !

Food wise, I personally didn't enjoy it. Just not the best quality. But other than that I'm also giving 2 stars because I called for two small orders of Pho and only when we got to the restaurant is when they said all soup TO GO orders are only available in large. Why not inform the customer while ordering on the phone? I know it's not much of a difference but I had already driven there and just paid the extra price. Not worth it.

So good! Everything we ordered tasted fresh and delicious. The combination fried rice was a stand out! It had great flavor and a good amount of chicken, beef, and shrimp. We couldn't stop eating it. I'm still thinking about it, tbh. The pho dac biet was so full of umami. We got the large size and shared it between the three of us. The bun rieu (spicy crab soup) was a delicious surprise! If you've never had this and want to try something different, I recommend this dish. It was full of seafood/crab flavor and they put large chunks of crab as well. I don't think it was crab meat like in the claws, but more like crab eggs or the fatty part of the crab--the yellow, fatty part. Anyway, it was another winner. The size portion of this was pretty good, too. Even with the $1.50 increase on each item, I still think it was well worth it. The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained. The decor is cute and the tables are nicely spaced. They weren't too busy inside when we went for dinner, but they did have a lot of takeout. Our server was also really nice and helpful. All in all, we found a new local spot for dinner! We will definitely be back again and again!

This place was delicious. I don't know what these naysayers are eating. But from a personal experience I got the pho filet, the spring rolls, and for desert I got the vanilla slush. The customer service was top notch. I work around the local area so I would definitely comeback for more. And also recommend anyone to try this place once.

Friendly service and very accommodating. The food was also tasty. The place felt pretty clean too. I would come again.

The price increase is ridiculous. You can't just say everything is $1.50 more. $1.50 in relation to a menu item that's $5 is a 30% increase. Stop being lazy and price things accordingly. I get times are tough but this current business model will lead to failure. Customer experience is always first. This place will be gone in a couple months if they don't change. Food is average

We came in for lunch 7/30/21. Once you enter the restaurant is very beautiful. From the traditional non la (Vietnamese hat) hanging, to the pictures and etc. My partner and I order the shrimp spring rolls for our apps and both had the grill shrimp noodle bowl! Food is solid. Prices are a bit higher than other places. Sorry no food pics!

This place was so bad it's not even funny. They increased their prices by $2 which made a normal bowl of pho worth around $13-14, but it was just an average bowl of pho that wasn't even that big. You can definitely get much better pho at MUCH better prices in other places. I was with my friends and we were all still hungry when we left, plus there was a presumably big piece of white fat in my bowl which really ruined my appetite. I chose not to tell the staff tho. At the end, when we were checking out, they accidentally charged us $15 when it was CLEARLY a few dollars lower on the receipt, which they didn't even bother to check. I had to manually catch their mistake so that they wouldn't overcharge me and my friends. Staff was also uninviting and the overall quality of the food was at best, if not below average. Sad. Never returning here again. Tsk tsk. TLDR: Just 3 friends grabbing a half-decently sized and average pho got charged $45 total WITHOUT tax and tip... like bruh.

Used to like this place when it opened. But Price up 20%, and want to charge me credit card fee for togo order... quality drop, portion reduce (roughly 40% less) and price go up.... Would not come back again.

This is the first time I ordered here and wanna try new pho place. Bad Bad Idea. Their fried egg roll is too small for 4 pcs for $8?!?! It was hard too. Worst food was the seafood panfried noodles. Whatta heck was that? They used thick flat noodles, put batter mix and fried it and its hard as rock. Instead using udon or yellow noodles for this type of dish. The seafood was imitation crab, tiny shirmps and fishball?!!!! For $14 something? The only food I ordered was ok is the broken rice with pork chop. The restaurant score for health and safety is B and price increase for $1.50, Not coming back anymore.

Watch the pricing when ordering at this place... My mom called to order the 2 piece shrimp paste spring rolls and got charged $8+. She was confused and mentioned that she saw the Yelp menu listed as $5.75. The server told her the Yelp menu was outdated. But the actual restaurant menu lists it as $6+. She then told my mom the physical menu pricing is incorrect too... I get the prices of costs going up but you need to have these pricing information correct before customers order.
