Ray's Duck House is killer good, the best Dim Sum this side of Hong Kong. Happened upon this restaurant one morning out for a drive on the 71. We were some of the first people there, early the day after Thanksgiving. Sorry, no food photos, it was so good we couldn't touch our phones until there wasn't anything left for a picture. Congee is a good test of a Cantonese Dim Sum restaurant because it is so deceptively simple. Duck House's was out of this world.

Food is pretty good but service was terrible. There are so many good Chinese restaurants in the area now that there’s really no need to deal with service this bad.

I’ve been eating dim sum since I was a kid, and Ray’s Duck is easily one of the most authentic places I’ve found. The dim sum here is excellent — fresh, flavorful, and with a great variety to choose from. You’ll find all the classics like shrimp dumplings, steamed rice rolls, and pineapple buns — all perfectly made.
What really stands out is the price — only $5 (weekdays, and $5.5 weekends) for any kind of dim sum, which is unbeatable in town! If you’re craving genuine dim sum without breaking the bank, Ray’s Duck is the place to go.

We came here for dinner on a Sunday evening and were surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty, with only two occupied tables. By the time we left, there were perhaps five or six tables. It quickly became clear that this establishment is likely better suited for dim sum than for dinner.
The dining room itself is spacious and impressive, with a grand atmosphere. The menu offered a wide range of options, though somewhat confusing, as it pulled from multiple Chinese culinary traditions. That’s often a red flag, suggesting the kitchen hasn’t really mastered one particular style.
For our group of six, we ordered sweet & sour pork, the pork roll appetizer platter, string bean stir-fry, shrimp with egg, and a few other dishes. Overall, the food was mediocre—about a 4 or 5 out of 10. Service was inattentive, with only two waiters managing the entire restaurant. The kitchen seemed equally understaffed; I wouldn’t be surprised if there was just one cook. Our food came out very slowly, and it was clear they were preparing our dishes alongside those for tables that arrived nearly 40 minutes after us.
All in all, it was an underwhelming experience with little that stood out. Given the setup of the restaurant, I suspect dim sum is really where this place shines.

Terrible experience. Food was okay to bad. Service was incredibly non-existent. Our large party was seated in a private room then asked to move outside after we’ve been there and the food was served. They said they made a mistake and need us to move. We refused as it was a birthday party and we were starting to eat already. From that point in, they stopped serving us. Never came to check in on us, never refilled water or tea, and was incredibly rude when we asked for anything like fork, knife, bowls. Stay away from this place!!

They got our order wrong and my mom even showed him what she circled and he kept yelling at her, was rude and was getting frustrated. Horrible service. Never again. He needs to be fired. Manger didn't even back us up and he saw the menu my mom circle! I wish I got the video of him yelling my mom.
