Friendly staffs and awesome Korean food! Must try the cold noodles and sul long tang.
I was craving Yukgaejang and a quick search led me to the Seoul Haus.
For those that may not know, Yukgaejang is a slightly spicy and savory Korean soup. It consists of a beef broth base containing, shredded beef (brisket), bean sprouts, green onions, egg, sesame oil, and chili.
Aside from my Yukgaejang needing some additional salt, the soup was great. It was served hot and in a big bowl. It also came with a side of rice and lots of banchan.
$20 for a hearty soup with rice and banchan isn't bad, but add a drink, and tip, and you're looking at about $30 per person.
Higher prices aside, the staff was nice and the place clean.
Too pricy for what you get. If it was delicious then I would not care about price. The pork belly was super thin with a lot of veggie as fillers for the stone bowl that when you chew in your food you can’t tell what you ate eating. The #1 on menu was soup base and it was not flavorful.
I do not recommend this place. Maybe lunch special during weekday 11am~12pm (only one hour span) is worth trying out other dishes.
A great place to enjoy a Korean meal with friends. So many amazing flavors; entrees presented so well, great staff, and a few banchan selections, but perfectly accompanied our meal.
I’m just going to say, if you don’t have THAT one friend who know these foodie finds or you’re not sure where to go to try these amazing Korean foods, let me be THAT friend or person to send you in the right direction. I am not one to gate keep these delicious finds whenever my Korean friends steer me in the right direction.
Mind you, I am the worst with spelling the names of these dishes, so I apologize in advance, but I hope my photos will help you order.
Our group of six (our favorites in this order)>>>
MUST TRY:
Galbi Jin/Him - add the cheese if you can, melt-off-the-bone beef is amazing, glass noodles are perfection-caramelized onions and the sweet glaze is such a delicious marinade
(Forgot the name)it was a bulgogi-like marinaded beefsteak entree served on a sizzling black platter
Naengmyeon (Cold Noodles in Broth)
Donkatsu (perfect batter/so tender and delicious)
Not as much of a crowd favorites, but still tasty (just not a reorder priority for us if not needed)
A potato stew
A seafood/octopus stew
A shredded beef/glass noodle spicy stew
Complimentary Items & Few Banchan items: a chilled tea; purple rice, kimchi, radish kimchi, seaweed
I hope this helps if you’re new to Seoul Haus as I’d been. Luckily, my friends led us in the right direction and ordered everything we just had to have.
Thank you so much to their wonderful staff. Their hospitality was wonderful!
We did not have a good experience. We asked for additional side dishes and they said they would bring them but did not. One order soup was weak flavored. The other ordered soup did not have many noodles and was mostly clear broth. No one came to attend to refilling our tea. The staff seemed preoccupied with delivery/take-out and appeared to be unhappy to be there on a Saturday and it showed. The store was clean but I assume they are not targeting a broad audience. It was not a welcoming atmosphere.
We were excited to try after hearing so much but sadly, we were treated with rudeness and carelessness. I am not sure if we could give it another try but maybe next time.
I have ordered takeout from Seoul Haus multiple times. Takeout orders are consistently packaged well with all the expected items, such as banchan (side dishes), utensils, and napkins. The food was also very good. I do order a variety of menu items, but one of my main go-to dishes is their sul-long-tang (oxtail bone soup). It is one of their best soups. It may not be a well-known Korean dish like Kbbq or Korean fried chicken, but in my opinion, it is one of the best Korean comfort foods.
There aren’t many restaurants near my home that have sul-long-tang, so it’s really nice to have a restaurant that does it well just down the street from me. The soup broth has a rich, deep flavor. The color of the broth is a clear indicator of its quality. The meat in the soup, which seems to be brisket, is always good quality.
One of the main indicators of a superior Korean restaurant is the variety and freshness of the banchan (side dishes) they provide. Takeout orders generally only have a couple of standard banchan (unless you ask), but if you eat in the restaurant, a few more banchan come with your meal.
Seoul Haus is by far the best and most authentic Korean restaurant in Chino Hills. The service is also consistently good. Whether I’m getting takeout or eating in, the staff are always polite and welcoming. The restaurant serves great food at good prices in a very clean environment.

Came to this place for some dinner the other day. This is in a low key place in chino hills. The food was delicious. My favorite was the sides that come out before the dishes. The pictures will tell it all. The service was perfect and they always were around for help.

The sul-long-tang is like a warm hug version of soup! I’ve always gotten the #1. The barley tea they give really compliments the meal. Service is fast, the food is delicious, reminds me of a home cooked meal! Whether you’re under the weather or not, this place is worth your time! The service is great and place is clean. I’ve eaten here at the restaurant and have gotten takeout multiple times. Both methods have been exceptional! Definitely worth your time and money!

Seoul Haus Korean BBQ is a great spot for a quick bite or takeout. I ordered the combo with bulgogi and naengmyeon (Korean cold noodle soup), and I was impressed with the authenticity and refreshing taste of the naengmyeon, especially paired with some delicious banchan. The cold noodles were exactly what I was craving. I was also happy to see bulgogi included in the combo, but I was a bit surprised by the preparation. Instead of the traditional thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin, the bulgogi was made into a thin beef patty, which threw me off. While the flavor was there, the texture wasn’t what I expected. I also liked that they serve iced tea and Korean multi-grain rice, which added a nice touch to the meal. Overall, it’s still a solid choice for quick Korean BBQ, but I hope they consider using traditional sliced beef for the bulgogi in the future or at least explain their unique take on it.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant, particularly regarding customer service and its suitability for families with babies. Upon entering, the waiter shouted from across the room to direct us to our seat, which felt unprofessional, even if they were busy.
The high chair provided was unsafe, lacking a belt, so we ended up using our stroller to ensure our baby was secure. While the food was tasty, our overall experience took a turn when our baby made a few noises towards the end of our meal. Instead of a compassionate approach, the waiter approached us and rudely asked us to quiet our child, an experience we've never encountered in other restaurants.
Feeling unwelcome, we decided to leave. As we were gathering our belongings, the staff even pushed a cleaning cart beside us, further emphasizing their lack of consideration. It felt as though they had no tolerance for families with children. We won’t be returning.

1st time here. Ordered a bibimba and set C. Chef charred my bugolgi, so I told the staff that I would like a new one. The second one is a bit better.
Servers are friendly and attentive (though they didn't help cut my bugolgi ?)

Meh. I've had much better Korean Food. Cold noodles were bland. Didn't have Katsu or Dumplings on our visit (Saturday dinner!!!). Hotpot bulgoki was ok, but not sizzling and no crispy rice in the bottom. Banchan was good and kept refilled. Won't be back. Other choices in IE are better (OK Tofu House #1)!

I believe they had a store in the OC area, which I really enjoyed! So glad they have one now in the Inland Empire! We got the Cold Noodles and the Sul Long Tang!
Parking: It's a little tight, but there is enough parking, even though some of the spaces are taken by the car wash place across the way.
