This place does not compare to the original, the actual silver lake ramen in Silver Lake Ca. They have kids serving and making the food. They made their best effort. But I'm not there for effort. I'm there for quality, just being honest! Go to DTLA Silver Lake ramen or the actual Silver Lake ramen. Don't waste your time in Chino!!!

Ate here with my kids on Nov. 17, the server was handling food with her bare hands, all while handling utensils, menus, payment terminal, and high-fiving her coworker. Not washing hands before taking the seaweed to place it in the soup is highly unacceptable and gross.

I lived in Japan 4 years and nothing compares but this is as close as it gets to any Ramen nearby…delicious 😋

- Took the classic Ramen. For me, 10 out of 10
- They cook quickly
- Service is good, polite waiter
- It's quite stylish on the inside
- I definitely recommend it. And I'll come again.

My ramen was not good at all. Service was great, but I definitely wouldn't come back to this location. No offense. I prefer South Pas and LA Habra.

Very slow! Very unfriendly to the delivery! No training for the job! No apology for a delivery person waiting in the store for a long time!

Food was pretty delicious however the ramen price is a little bit higher than other restaurants. Over all very yummy fried chicken rice. The California roll was poorly wrapped and it was broken with the fillings coming out.

Smaller than expected but I enjoyed the food! I got the: Chicken Karaaga Bowl. The chicken was jucy on the inside and extra crispy on the outside. I liked how they added ginger to it and really complements the dish. They also have Soy Sauce and Gyoza Sauce on the tables to add if needed. Really enjoyed the meal and I had the large size. Is also very wallet friendly.

This is a very nice and spacious Silverlake Ramen location. There is plenty of parking and large tables. The difference here from other locations I’ve been to, is that you order ahead of time at the counter before sitting. That can be time consuming and slow, but after that service is great.

My family and I, frequent patrons of Silverlake Ramen, were deeply disappointed by our recent visit to the Chino Hills location. Despite our efforts to clean up after our 1yr old, who had a minor food mishap, we were met with unprofessional behavior from the manager. Instead of assistance, we were threatened with refusal of service. It’s a shame that they request their tips upfront because they’re non existent when you need them. This treatment is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment's standards of customer service. Our experience at Silverlake Ramen in Chino Hills was a significant departure from the quality and service we previously enjoyed. As a result, we have decided not to return. I urge the management to take this feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to ensure that other customers do not have similar experiences. In replying to your feedback:First of all, my wife and child go there multiple times a week. We are aware of the mess we make, but this is not on purpose. Who is able to stop a 1yr old from throwing things when they want to. I would also like to add that no one else was ever in harms way from any “flying dishes or chopsticks” (even though that’s a gross exaggeration) and we never saw any attempt from service staff to apologize to any other guests. Never has a staff member tried to help clean the mess while eating. Which can cause a serious safety hazard for all parties included. We became regulars to show we support the Silverlake, we even had family functions in the past at this location but obviously it’s not appreciated. Instead of reprimanding your diners for the things their babies do, this could have been a learning experience. One where the service staff could assist with the mess, instead what happened was no one ever came to help, no one ever came to check on them, and no one ever brought it to our attention until they mentioned they would be willing to refuse service to us.In addition, for anyone still reading. I’ve discussed this matter with the manager over the phone to try to clear the air. What I learned is that staff members would purposely ignore my wife and baby when they would frequent their establishment, pictures would be taken of the mess, and they would be mislabeled as troublesome diners. It’s a shame the expectation of privacy when dining is not valued here, especially since they mentioned they had photos of the mess and would share it if neededWe have personally apologize for the mess to service staff, we try our best to tip well in advance in case this happens, and we try our best to clean up after ourselves. What other expectations do you have from your customers? If you’re looking to serve good vibes, this is not the way to do it.

Kid-friendliness: Don’t bring toddlers that throw food because they will let you know they don’t want to clean up the mess they make.

Ordered the tonkashu ramen with a tempera roll. The broth for the tonkashu is so rich it's practically addicting. Nice place all around. Try it out u won't be disappointed
