Vegetarian options: I found bits of Plastic in my meal.I expected the restaurant to atleast be apologetic but instead i received no apology or money back. They made me pay them and tip them in advance.Do not pay or worse tip them in advance. The food was terrible.

I am a DoorDash aficionado, and always on the lookout for new and tasty fare. Tay Ho delivered! Their garlic noodles with filet mignon, as well as with tofu and mushrooms are super flavorful! The filet melts in your mouth and the vegetarian option is so full of texture and flavor! The crispy egg rolls are delicious, especially with the sauce for dipping that is provided. And, who doesn't love an iced Vietnamese coffee? This is a go to lunch now on our weekly rotation!

Was craving Vietnamese food and remembered seeing great reviews for Tay Ho. I always try to temper my expectations for highly rated places as I sometimes feel like they are overrated, but this place is seriously underrated considering how great the food is and how kind the employees are! I ordered the popular banh cuon set and was immediately impressed by the variety, portion size and presentation. The shrimp and sweet potato fritters were so yummy and the rice noodle crepes paired perfectly with their flavorful house dipping sauce, as well as all the garnishes (onions, bean sprouts, shredded cucumbers). We also tried both the garlic noodles with steak and the steak with rice. The steak was exceptionally tender and buttery! I personally liked the noodles more than the rice, but I'm also partial to noodles. Both came with a refreshing salad, which was so good with their house dipping sauce! It was cold and rainy when we stopped by, so even though three boxes was more than sufficient for our family, we wanted to try the pho. We were pretty skeptical, considering the restaurant's concept revolves around to go food, but to my surprise, the pho tay ho (a combination of multiple types of meat) tasted just as good and actually better than some sit-down pho places I've been to! The kids were lapping up the broth and frankly, we were all fighting over it because it was so flavorful and soothing!I also really liked the ube coffee. I already love Vietnamese coffee for its strong caffeine content, but the ube topping really elevated the drink. It was so good that I almost ordered a second one, but was worried it would keep me up (next time!). I will definitely be back soon for some more authentic Vietnamese eats! I'm planning on picking up some of the box sets to surprise some of my friends with because the packaging is so cute, clever and convenient! I seriously adore the presentation and how everything comes in a giant orange reusable bag. I know sushi boxes were all the rage at one point, but they should move over because Tay Ho's boxes are way better in every respect (more affordable, bigger portions, more variety, etc.)! I found out they offer catering too, which will come in handy for parties. So happy to have found Tay Ho - what a gem!!!

Located in a small mall parking is ample and easy.Got the take out and the food was packaged well, they have nice unique containers and a heavy duty reusable bag.The food is a great price for value. They had a special buy one get one deal on Uber Eats that doubled the food which was a bonus. The meat is fresh and the fish sause base is some of the best in the area. Overall if you need a Vietnamese fix this place is run Bento takeout style and definitely worth a look.

Tay Ho has made-to-order Vietnamese dishes that's perfect for takeout or delivery. When you walk in, it's nice and open. They have some tables and bar seating in case you want to eat in, which is optimal. But whether you get takeout or eat in, they have the perfect takeout boxes and reusable bags.Everything I tried: The BANH CUON comes with their Classic rice crepes, pork & mushroom rolls, ground shrimp rolls, Vietnamese ham and shrimp & sweet potato fritter. I dipped EVERYTHING in their flavorful made-in-house sauce. It's fantastic!! I liked the texture of the rice crepes. It had a slight firmness to it, making it easy to pick up and dip in the sauce. Surprisingly, I really liked the Vietnamese ham. The shrimp & sweet potato fritter was not as crunchy as I expected. However, fritters can be tough to make because there's a lot of factors that determine crunchiness. And, I know they have been diligently working on their recipe to make the best fritters for their customers and that withstands travel with takeout. Garlic Pepper Fried Shrimp (NEW ITEM) Three Color Dessert Flan (MUST-TRY)Vietnamese Pandan Coffee The Garlic Pepper Fried Shrimp is one of their new items. It comes whole with the shrimp head, which has a lot of flavor. Now the question is, do you eat the shrimp head or not? First of all, it's perfectly safe and considered a delicacy in some cultures. For me, it's quite common in Filipino cuisine so I grew up with my mom cooking it that way. I would say, give it a try. It's surprisingly delicious! Don't skip out on the desserts and coffee! Loved the flan! So creamy!! The Three Color dessert is fun to dig in and mix the soft kidney beans and Pandan jelly. Both not overly sweet, which I love! I love the orange takeout boxes and bag! Great branding. Can't wait to try more of their dishes!

I've been to the location in Westminster but I love the Chino Hills location more because it's cleaner and more fast casual. I ordered the Pork and Mushroom Roll Set (Banh Cuon) and an Ube Vietnamese Coffee. I love the drink options because usually ordering unique drinks like this means going to a coffee shop but this place does it all. They also sell desserts next to the register such as Viet yogurt and flan. I love how all orders come with a free reusable bag! Love the aesthetic.

I can't begin to tell you how fresh and perfectly chewy the rice crepes were in the banh cuon set. I've had it before but opening up the box to find so many small intricate dishes was so exciting. I poured the sauce all over the rice crepes and pork and mushroom rolls and ate it elevated the dish so much. This is definitely their most popular item for a reason plus your meal comes with a bag!I also tried mi xao aka garlic noodles with steak and this came as a surprise to my taste buds because it was a lot saltier than I expected. That said, the noodles had the best texture and I kept wanting to eat more because of it. I'm glad it came with a salad because my palette needed to be refreshed from the flavor bomb every so often. I had Vietnamese yogurt for the first time and was surprised by the flavor. I can't explain how it was different but I'm sure it's because it's sweetened with condensed milk as opposed to sugar. The ube Vietnamese coffee was also a nice touch to the meal because it wasn't overly sweet as other ones tend to be.

I ordered the vegetarian noodle salad with tofu and varietal mushrooms (a very excellent variety) and it was delicious! It also came with bean sprouts, basil, cucumber, slaw, and your choice of spicy or mild dipping sauce. I went with spicy and it was perfect (not too spicy IMO). I was also pleasantly surprised because instantly after ordering I regretted that I had ordered a 'salad' since I thought it was going to be cold. I started to think I should have ordered a hot plate, but turns out the noodle salad is a warm dish and Ioved it.I wish I had more of an appetite because I was also eyeing the chicken wings. Next time!P.S. The staff was friendly and courteous.

We have passed Tay Ho on Grand Ave multiple times and my mom and I wanted to try it. It is in the plaza with the Rubios and Gen KBBQ.I never really had Vietnamese food besides the stereotypical pho or banh mi, so I was excited to try it. We were floored off! The food was so good, and so reasonably priced. It's no wonder we've already been back three times! My mom's favorite Vietnamese spot closed in San Dimas, where she used to get banh cuon. When she found out they had it here, that was her immediate pic. She said it did not disappoint. She loved it.I got the Ban Xeo with pork and shrimp, which does take some time. If you order takeout, they do you tell you it takes about 15 minutes wait. It's best to order on line if you do plan to get this. It's really good! I love the crispy crepe with the pork. So good!We did order fried rice another time. It was good in flavor, but kind of small. Plus, fried rice is easily accessible, so I would recommend other menu items instead. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We are going back tonight!!!

very nice togo box and bag for just an order.the food was ok. Banh cuon and Banh uot are interesting dishes. Those will have lots of fish sauce, in case you don't like fish sauce.

Very glad to have tried Tay Ho while visiting Chino- thankfully Yelp helped me find this restaurant that reminded me of childhood meals - Vietnamese ham and rice paper rolls!Overall, the location is a smaller restaurant, which seemed like most folks were doing take-out. Interior is clean and modern. I had to ask questions to clarify the menu a bit, as the menu is a mixture of Vietnamese and English- and I wanted to make sure I was ordering something with the items I was craving/most familiar with, the cashier was helpful in answering questions to make sure I ordered the right things. The classic box was so delightful and brought me back to many memories - from the veggie ham to the various eggrolls, potatoes, etc. The garlic noodles with shrimp were definitely flavorful - but also had a sweeter taste which made eating the entire plate harder.I hope to back soon!!

Very clean inside. No cooking food smell yet everything was delicious! Mostly take out orders and the packaging is very environmentally conscious. We ordered thru the kiosk at the counter and ate there. Food prepared really quickly and the portion for each order was very generous. Definitely a must try!

I ordered a NOODLE salad to be delivered to my house. It ended up being about $25 with all fees included. It took about an hour and when I finally received it and was all excited to eat it, it wasn’t a noodle salad at all, it was RICE. I called, hoping they had just made a mistake. Instead, they informed me that they had “ran out” of noodles. I can pretty much guarantee that a Vietnamese restaurant did not “run out” of noodles. They clearly just didn’t care enough about me or my order to make more noodles. $25 for rice on top of lettuce and a couple pieces of mushroom. This place has terrible customer service and what I recieved didn’t even taste good. It’s in the trash. I absolutely do not recommend ordering from this place.
