Went back to this place hoping the food has improved. The chicken curry is just plain unappetizing, can’t even taste the curry. The only menu that has remained ok is the beef satay dinner. Basil chicken is okay nothing special.

Not to mention the BBQ I ordered was burnt, and I had diarrhea when I got home after eating it. Thai food was the worst since I came to the United States.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Original Thai BBQ restaurant, in Chino Hills and it was an experience that left a lasting impression on my taste buds. The newly remodeled and inviting atmosphere immediately set the stage for what turned out to be a delightful Thai BBQ journey.Starting with the BBQ Beef skewers were so delectable, the Sweet Angel - deep fried stuffed chicken wings were a perfect crispy and flavorful delight, providing the perfect balance of textures. The Tom Yum seafood soup was a highlight, boasting a seafood blend of spices that warmed both the heart and soul. It's my favorite soup. For the main course, I opted for the Thai BBQ chicken, a classic Thai dish that exceeded expectations. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the combination of sweet, sour, and savory flavors created a dance on my palate. The combination Chow Mein with the works was another standout, rich in flavor and a must. What truly set this restaurant apart was the authenticity of the dishes. It felt like a genuine taste of Thailand, with each bite transporting me to the streets of Bangkok. The attention to detail and the use of fresh, quality ingredients were evident in every dish. The Thai beer selection was a plus and a nice touch and they also serve wine. The service was prompt and courteous, adding to the overall positive impression. The staff's knowledge of the menu and willingness to offer recommendations enhanced the dining experience. In conclusion, this Thai restaurant not only satisfied my culinary cravings but also transported me to the heart of Thailand through its authentic flavors. Whether you're a Thai cuisine enthusiast or a newcomer, this establishment is a must-visit for a truly memorable dining experience. Thanks the Original Thai BBQ Chino Hills for a delicious meal!Vegetarian options: The menu has a Vegetable optionParking: Big shopping center

The poeple and service was great (no complaint there)...however.....Let me start off by saying that the Pad see ew had a weird taste. There was no flavoring whatsoever. Almost like eating cardboard. Also ordered the chicken fried rice, it had no flavor. Very Bland taste. Lastly, for drinks I had ordered the Thai Tea. The Thai tea was awful. It had a taste of tap water with milk. I would not recommend this place. It was my first time and it did not live up to its current rating. Again the service and people were very polite and attentative but the food was not made with any effort at all. Perhaps a new cook can change all that but definitely wouldn't come here again, unfortunately.

Ordered take out. Not impressed with the food quality. I ordered pad see ew (mushy noodles, not much flavor), coconut soup (flavorful) and egg rolls (dry, not much flavor). Especially for the price. And it was $14 for 3 egg rolls?? I was expecting the food to be delicious. But it wasn't.

Got take out last night from this place. The manager was friendly and courteous. Even though we did not done in but the inside of the restaurant looks clean and the atmosphere was nice. However, the food only tasted OK, maybe we ordered the wrong things. We ordered the following: BBQ Chicken Special, Pad See Ew w/Beef, Garlic Pork. The BBQ Chicken Specia lcame with 1/2 chicken, shrimp fried rice (2 pc. shrimps) and a dipping sauce for the chicken. The chicken tasted really really dry, even the drumstick part was dried. The shrimp fried rice only had 2 pc. of shrimps. And probably because we asked for no onion inside the fried rice, there are no veggies in the fried rice but maybe ketchup? The Pad See Ew was a bit mushing. The beef and broccoli inside was OK.The Garlic Pork has green beans inside and tasted pretty good. The only negative thing I can say about this dish is that it's a bit oily for me. There's a layer of red color oil. I would order this dish again but will ask for less oily if possible.Overall, tried the restaurant, not very impressed but will consider dining in next time and will try other entrees.

This restaurant may bear a Thai name but barely has any Thai taste. It lacks authenticity. The pad see ew looked like a bunch broken noodle stuck together. The presentation of the food was absolutely terrible. The Thai salad tasted nothing like Thai salad. It was literally chicken breast with packaged salad with honey mustard sauce. The place was clean and the service was ok. These are the two reasons that save this place from getting a one-star review.Overall. It's a 1.6 out of 5 stars. I would not return and definitely would not recommend this place if you crave authentic Thai food.
