“There's a Pollo Loco closer to my work than Juan Pollo, but it's definitely worth the extra mile or two for Juan Pollo, for the following reasons (based on my comparison of a leg & thigh meal):

Freshness: Juan Pollo's chicken is hotter, more tender, juicy, and flavorful.

You get more: not only is the taste better, but the chicken is noticeably larger and instead of only 2 smaller (corn) tortillas at Pollo Loco, you get 3 larger tortillas at Juan Pollo.

For almost $2 less than Pollo Loco, Juan Pollo's meal doesn't include a drink.

“There is only 1 nice guy manning the front and kitchen. I tried calling ahead but the phone wasn’t working. I left and came back after 30 min for 1 order of popcorn chicken but it wasn’t ready. The owner is not doing his or her job cheaping out on service. They are lucky to have this guy working here.“

“I ordered carry out last night. There was a special on the large pizzas for carry out. I did add stuffed crust on both and maybe some extra toppings. The pizzas were absolutely delicious perfectly cooked. I ordered well done on one of them and it was perfectly done. I never have had their stuff crust before everyone at my house agreed that it was the best they ever had. The two Guys at the restaurant that were working were very friendly and had great customer service and fast service. Just wanted to say thank you and keep up the good work. I’ll see you guys soon.“
