I dunno why all the weird reviews but I've been to all delis in Chula but this place has the Best lunch sandwiches in south bay my new go to spot for a quick sandwich. Really big portions. Even on the small size sandwich .. boars head meats stacked high great bread. Great customer service ! A+++. Keep it up !

Came here on accident, no one else was here ordering and my dad placed an order for a sandwich, no onion. Took 15 minutes to get the sandwich and yes it had onion. Too costly for the quality of service, not coming back again anytime soon.

It's 9:14 am and I stopped by, it's closed. That sucks I'll be next door for a while so hopefully they open soon. Maybe the time should be changed or fixed. It's inconvenient for people.

Honestly, first off let me start by saying my bf and I are all for supporting LOCAL businesses. Especially family oriented. So when we saw the sign posted we knew we'd have to give it a go. We love a hot sandwich after the gym to be honest and subway is convenient, but can get old after a while. Since it is a newer place with hardly any business I guess we just expected to be treated a little more like a "family oriented vibe" to be honest it was mediocre. Now the SANDWICH WAS BOMB! the guy that made it was nice enough to even bring it and ask us if we were okay and if it was good. And I can appreciate that! So thank you! We did order our sandwiches HOT and received them cold, but we didn't mind them COLD. 3 starts only because it wasn't as welcoming as we expected for being family oriented. Not sure if we'll be back, hope too many soon after a gym visit.

Its official The 3rd Avenue Deli is my new go to Deli. The sandwich was awesome, the potato salad was just like I'd make at home, the choices are extensive - something for everyone!

Another Chula Vista hidden gem, great sandwiches for great prices. Good service. I've had their egg salad, GTO (London broil Roast Beef) Hot Pastrami and Italian Torpedo and all of them were fantastic. Doesn't make sense to me to go somewhere like Subway when this place is nearby. Highly recommended. FYI the hot pastrami on Italian roll is my favorite

First time here. Mikey is amazing and very patient. I wasn't sure what to get. He made suggestions and I finally decided but I changed my mind on him and was so understanding and helpful. Everything sounds great and smells good. Place is very clean. Food is delicious. I would just come back again. Mikey made me feel welcomed. Awesome customer service and food!

Place is empty, bought a tuna sandwich and some generic veggie chips, chips were rancid and sandwich bread was soggy despite them telling me the bread was toasted. The only reason why I didn't make a return was because I felt sorry for the place.

What a great sandwich, I had the pastrami on rye and it was fantastic. I am New York city born and raised and moved to San Diego in 1994. I finally found a spot that that makes a sandwich the way it"s done back home, thanks guys!!!

Went for the first time today. Ordered the "Ferrari" and was not disappointed. Authentic Italian sandwich. The service is excellent as well. I will definitely be back!
