Lately, I have really enjoyed the food here! The short ribs, the burgers, grilled chicken with spicy sausage and the onion rings. The staff was friendly and helpful. The regional manager (Stephanie, I think) helped me with a mismatched order and I was very satisfied with her help. The dining area looks a little outdated but the food makes up for it. Looking forward to our next visit.

I get off of work at 5pm and tried to go as fast as the traffic would let me to come here 5 minutes before 6pm for their happy hour. My partner asked about it and the waitress said she would go ask. Waitress waited till 6:01 to finally come and get our orders. We have gone to the location in El Cajon numerous times minutes before 6pm and the waitress always honored the happy hour and took our order immediately. Will be avoiding this location at all cost.

The worst service we could have received, since the first thing the host attended to us was because we were a group of 15 people, and she called the manager and they wanted to seat us in the bar area where there are high chairs, and we explained that we needed regular chairs since we came with elderly people and handicaps, and she explained to us that they could not seat us in the area with regular chairs because they did not have a waiter on that side and that there was only a waiter on the side of the bar, which made it difficult for her to understand us or send the waiter to the other area of the restaurant while there were customers sitting, I recommend not coming to this restaurant where they do not appreciate the customer and when we told her that we would be better off going to BJ's, the manager turned around and did not care about the lack of training on the part of the franchise towards its staff

Phenomenal lunch and service at this location. Huge shoutout to the entire staff and hostess Mel. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were quickly seated with a beautiful smile.
Also a special shoutout to our server Dasha. Her customer service skills were not only a 10/10 but her interaction with our table was wonderful. A smile and demeanor that can really light up a room. Food was served quickly and freshly prepared. Delicious!! Thank you Applebee's.

It's Friday night 6/27. Me and my wife sat in the bar that we frequently sit almost every Friday. Anthony, who may be a new bartender, gave us one the best experiences to date on any Applebee's. Anthony displays great technique with the beer pours! One pour every time! Perfect amount of minimal foam. His servíce is done with a great smile. We noticed he is very attentive and anyone sitting at the bar is well serviced. Great job Applebee's on Palomar on finding this talent! Message to management and General manager.... Place this guy on premium evenings! Thank you applebee's palomar for this great service!
