Terrible!!! To begin with, terrible service, the waitresses were upset because when we arrived there were no customers and apparently we interrupted their gossip, they didn't bring us the menu, my husband stopped because the waitresses didn't finish talking, and throughout the entire time we were there There they were just looking at their phone, We ordered a mixiote that to begin with had no flavor with some ugly tortillas that were poorly heated, some "quesadillas" of mushrooms and they were two tortillas that were ugly with mushrooms without any flavor and equally ugly cheese, The sauce is equally tasteless and flavorless, a shame to say that it is Mexican food or that it is one of the best tacos in San Diego. Very bad experience.

My family and I visit this place very often, but this was the last time, because the quality of the food dropped a lot, it is not the same, the meat they served us was not lamb, it was beef and the texture of the Meat seemed to have been reheated for days. And the onion with habanero that they serve was really bad, I don't know what they mix it with but the juice it had was spoiled. And when I mentioned it to the waitress, she just scoffed.

My family I love Texcoco! Problems- When placing a phone order “If” they answer they’ll tell you to hold on but it’s more of a hang up, call back then the phone rings busy for hours, can’t place a phone order, they make you go in. Also for some reason since the older women started working there, my family & I have seen a change in “Phone service & pick up” just a smerky attitude, walking in and or picking up. If I’m experiencing these changes then I’m pretty sure others are as well. I hope the owner will take notice of what’s going on in his restaurant!
