I read about the food in this restaurant for being authentic Mexican food. I am from Mexico city so l was very exited. The barbacoa is good for being in US, the consomé just ok, the huitlacoche quesadillas were good. I also had a sesos quesadilla. It was very good flavor but small and expensive. The place was not busy and we were immediately sat. They had the baseball game on which was nice. We had a full order of barbacoa which was really good, it came with a good sized side of consume and enough tortillas. I tried moronga for my first time, it's definitely something different 😅. My boyfriend tried other tacos but it didn't seem as good as the barbacoa.
I had the opportunity to devour their veg mushroom tacos with rice and beans and the various salsas - the food was to die for - thank you! Truly enjoyed your hot service at the WOAH girls event in mission bay …one of the best Mexican foods I have tasted in SD so far !!
