If I can give a lesser rate I would. Can't say anything good about this place. Waited 40 minutes to be seated thinking it would be worth the wait. It wasn't. Waiter was nice but forgetful didn't bring us our side dishes. The order I made was brought to me cold and seemed if it sat for awhile and was told the "Cooks" pretty much do as they please. Knowing that aspect I wont be returning to this place. Definitely not worth the wait. Sad because I was told this place was good. What a disappointment.

Today was the worst restaurant experience I've had in my life. Ordered huevos divorciados with egg whites. I received my plate along with what my husband ordered. However, my food was cold and chilaquiles were soggy. Funny thing is the shredded Cheese on top wasn't melted. So you could tell that the food was cold. I politely asked our waiter to remake it so it would be hot; and the way I ordered it. He comes back with a fresh hot plate. I asked; are these egg whites? I don't k ow he responded. So I ran my fork across the egg; and behold the yolk runs out. He said 'oh sorry' let me have them remake it. I patiently wait while my husband eats his food. Our come the plate. Here's the shocker!!! Waiter says "the kitchen won't remake it; so here is your first plate". I said; same one but reheated? He says 'yes'. Oh... well now everything is really soggy and no you can take it back. I asked 'so your saying the kitchen refuses to fix their mistake?' 'Yes' some better get those cooks in line! Did they think they were serving people for free? I ordered what I ordered; not what you want to give me; which was someone else cold pate and try to redo it: then redo it wrong! No sir! They lost. 15+ year customer here! So sad. Changed in management or cooks. Not a way to run a business. I get it; they don't want to waste food or loose money. But they just did!

4 stars for the food! However, it's best to eat in than to order for pickup. I called an order in and was told it would be 30-45 minutes. Not a problem since I don't live close by I figured I'd give it at least half an hour before heading out. I get there and wait a couple of minutes before asking if my order was ready. Since I did see them busy I gave it some time. Finally after waiting the 45 minutes I went in to ask. Understandably it was a bit hectic but the lady I asked never came back to let me know. I eventually asked another one of the ladies and she lead me to the register, I'm thinking ok she's going to check. Nope! She just rang me up. I paid and still wasn't told. I waited and waited eventually my order was ready. All in all I easily waited for over an hour. Also, no condiments, no napkins, and no cutlery was provided. I had no energy to go back to ask. So heed my warning and don't order for pick up! The people that came in after me that were waiting to get seated waited less time than I did. Lesson learned!

Typically I am not one to write reviews, but tend to read them. I have never been here before and decided to check them out for my birthday brunch with my family and friends. I have to say from the moment I 1st called in to walking out the door, the experience was fantastic! We had a large party, and unfortunately there were a few stragglers. But the service was perfect, never had to wait for anything (except the rest of my party), the food was delicious. Let's just say that I fell in love with the place and I'll be going there again.

40 min waiting time for your food, it's a shame for my favorite place to going down the drain on service. We were a party of two, another table that was sited at same time 4 ppl they got their food way before. Open for new suggestions for a new place to go

I've been coming here with my family since I was little, love this place! Everything is honestly soo bomb! Pancakes, crepes, hash browns, omelette, chilaquiles, coffee, milkshakes, etc. It's usually busy, so be patient with the service! No Karen's allowed

The servers here are excellent, the coffee was fantastic and not once did it run dry. The food was delicious and cooked as if your mom was in the kitchen making you breakfast. If you're looking for a top notch breakfast diner in the San Diego area, it's right here!

Aunt Emma's Pancakes is the best known secret in Chula Vista. Breakfast at this pancake house is always worth the trip from La Mesa and has easy access right off Hwy 5. Parking at the property can be challenging, but worth the walk if you have to park a block or two away. The food service and atmosphere are all outstanding. Make the trip you will not be disappointed.

Good breakfast for a reasonable price and fast service. The only lace could use some updates with the decor. I would go back.

After reading the reviews, I was a bit apprehensive to try it, but my husband swore that this place "used to be very good." We both came to the conclusion that the quality of food was mediocre, at best. We've had better pancakes at Danny's. My daughter's Apple Crepes weren't good at all--the apples were cold and hard. However, my nephew enjoyed his Chicken Club sandwich and the waitress was pretty nice. Final opinion: I don't plan on returning.

Not the same as it was many years ago. They give much smaller portions and the food is something left to be desired. I got food poisoning last I was there. It's a shame since I have many good memories there. I wouldn't bother stopping.
