My favorite bahn mi place in the Chula Vista/National City area. Run by a sweet family and their bahn mi always hit the spot especially for the price. You can even see them make your sandwich as the kitchen is easily seen from the front. My favorites are the crispy pork belly (heo quay) and the grilled pork (thit nuong). Much love to this place and I hope they continue to serve our community with fresh bahn mi :)))

Me and my friend ordered #2, #14, pina colada smoothie, avocado smoothie and chocolate/cream cheese croissants. The food was fresh and perfect temperature. Upon entering the establishment we were greeted by the employee and weren't rushed to order while we look at the menu. Once we placed our order our drinks were serve first and shortly after our sandwiches. The place was bright, clean, and organized for a small place.

Awesome place for bahn mi here in Chula Vista. I like that they're consistent with quality. I usually get the grilled pork or crispy pork belly. The lady at the counter is always nice and greets me with a smile. It's a small shop and I like it that way.

Pickled vegetables tasted barely pickled. Meat was minimal. Bread was hard. Pricing is expensive compared to other banh mi places but those are far away. Parking is easy. Love that new Asian options are coming to Chula Vista.

Super delicious sandwiches and pastries. The bread is soft and crispy and delicious. Definitely recommend the Braised Pork Belly Sandwich and the egg rolls. Service is so nice as well. Get there early they are usually busy.

After school or before working i'm always looking for a quick snack. After returning to Chula Vista i was pleasantly surprised to find this shop nearby. Prices are great and the quality is even better. Good portions and very quick putting out orders They have a nice selection of quick snacks and sides you can add to your order. To top it off the Owners are very friendly people. Highly recommend this establishment.
The Banh Mi's were delicious. These were probably the best sandwiches we have ever had. They were very fresh and the pork had such great flavor. The place is very small and had just one table for two and a couple tables outside. Can't wait to go back.

Went here a couple of times and was disappointed with their sandwiches. They do not use the traditional Asian yellow mayo. Instead, it tastes like American jar mayo...disgusting! Also, the bread is hard, not like Cali Baguette. I found the pork fried belly bahn mi is too sweet. The coffee is the best thing here...tried their eggrolls, three bean dessert and the mung bean ball, they were fine.

So happy to finally have a place with banh mi heo quay!!! I saw this all over online and new I had to come in. Its a cute shop with about 2 mini tables to eat in, but its better to take it to go. All my friends ordered one and we enjoyed it! I personally wish there was a bit more meat in it and more pork skin. The skin was less crispy that I prefer but it was still pretty good. Would love to come back and try their other bakery items as well!
