I come in to get my son a birthday cake and get him a single scoop of ice cream. The gentleman working at 2 PM today decides to not listen to my request to get my son toppings and then talks back to me in front of everybody in a rude way saying I didn’t request it.Terrible customer service, especially when I specifically told them we’re there to purchase a cake for my son’s birthday. Not sure why he has to talk back and give customers and attitude. You’re not supposed to talk back to people in retail. It’s very rude management needs to have a sit down with this young girl. I manage retail and I would never allow that.
Walked in to get my regular drink. Greeted by TWO workers. Went to the register so I could put my stuff down and order. Waiting patiently thinking “oh, I’ll let them finish what they’re doing because they look busy.” I’m the only customer in the store at this time. Then a guy walks in after me and walks up to the girl. The other guy worker goes in the back. Other customer starts his order with the girl worker. She starts to help him and I just watch this all happening in front of me. Girl worker walked past me, didn’t even notice me. She proceeded to help the guy. I just walked out. Ain’t got no time to wait any longer.
Sorry, I didn’t know as a paying customer I had to chase you down so you can ask me what I want. YOU guys saw me come in. You said “Welcome!” Not one of you could kindly walk 4 steps over to ask me if I needed help? Do better!
Man, I can get these drinks at any number of Baskin Robbin’s nearby. I came here because it’s convenient. Now I never want to come back. Thanks!

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Baskin-Robbins in Otay Lakes, in Chula Vista. I placed an order for a cake in advance (48 hours), received confirmation, and planned around picking it up for a special occasion. When I arrived, they told me they didn’t have the cake—no explanation, no apology, just nothing. Completely unprofessional and frustrating. If you can’t fulfill orders, don’t take them in the first place. I won’t be returning.
Rihanna was very friendly, and the ice cream was delicious. Didn’t have to wait very long. Would definitely come here again
I ordered a brownie sundae and gave me a one scoop ice cream cup! Horrible customer service from management
We traveled to San Diego for the summer and wanted to leave a review on this location. The store, we’ve come to know, is run by a wonderful, caring, and responsive couple that will go above and beyond for each and every customer. They strive to hire only the best associates to represent their shoppe and the Baskin-Robbins name. If you should have anything short of a fantastic experience, I assure you that you can confidently reach out to them directly and they will make things right. This mom and pop shop is an ice cream staple in their community and they carry that with the utmost respect.

Nice. Not our first time. Won't be our last.
Advertise certain flavors, but they don't have them in stock (Game Night). Also would not cancel my order.
Excellent service and delicious snow
My wife gave it 5 stars. My daughter (see her ice cream in the photo below) gave 5 star too.

I don't think I have ever gotten worse customer service before today. I continue to be stunned at the work ethic displayed yesterday night, 11/6/22. From the moment my friends and I walked into the store, we knew it wasn't going to be good. We entered at 9:50 pm when it closes at 10. My receipt shows we left by 9:56 so it wasn't like we just walked through the door at 9:59. Not to mention a customer was already in line in front of us finishing their order when we entered. As soon as we opened and stepped through the door, the 2 employees looked at us, then began snickering and laughing between each other. At first, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were laughing at their conversation they had prior to us walking in, but no. I'm not sure what their names were, so from this point on I will just differentiate by Hispanic woman and Asian woman. After they finished serving the customer in front of us, the Asian woman fairly loudly said along the lines of, "can't I just go in the back and not serve them" and the Hispanic woman said, "No we have to help them", them directed to us, "I'll be with you in just a moment". The Asian women then proceeds to head into the back while attempting to avoid eye contact. A few moments later, the Hispanic lady starts my friends order just as the Asian lady walks back out. When my friend orders a milkshake, they AGAIN turn to each other and start snickering and laughing. At that point my friend feels guilted into another item, so he says, "if its a big deal I'll just go for some scoops" which the Hispanic lady says, "no its fine, ill get you a shake". Why are they actively complaining in the middle of a customer exchange to the point of making us feel like a burden? The Hispanic lady starts making my friends shake, and the Asian lady goes to ask for mine. I too, order a shake, and they AGAIN turn to each other and snicker more, directly in front of all of us. Everything I asked her was a direct inconvenience to her and she would continue to glare at me. After hearing the repeated snickering, my other friend asked them "are you closing right now or something?" And the Hispanic employee responded with, "Yeah we close in 10 minutes, and we're really tired because of day light savings time." We are already annoyed at them complaining about us and their jobs, and we want to leave just as badly as they want to. My friend laughs, "oh no day light savings time" since my friends and I had just talked about how we thought it was funny how some people really didn't like day light savings time. Then the Asian lady replied, "do you want to come back here and do it?", which we were fed up by then so we just ignored her for asking a ridiculous question. Asian lady then angrily say, "you make 50 more cents than I do" to her Hispanic coworker. Each moment was just continously petty, to the point when the Asian lady was done with my milkshake, she purposely glared at me, visibly upset and annoyed. I said "thank you" with a smile, and her face visibly changed to a normal resting face as she uttered out "your welcome" under her breath. My last friend ordered 2 scoops, and no snickering or remarks occured after that. We paid and left, but I did ask for a receipt just so I could have proof of the exchange, the time of exit, and the name that's on the register during my check out, which I am assuming is the Asian lady's that ran our orders. Those 2 employees were complaining about being tired and frustrated about taking our orders to literally the worst examples. My buddy does closing shifts, my other buddy worked at a 24/7 starbucks (which I bring up because it is closely related to a baskin-robbins environment), and I've worked 2 jobs before back to back. We are all tired!!! Never once have any of us taken it out on our customers. I hope the 2 employees read this review and find different jobs they're happy with, becau
