For 23 years I owned a sandwich restaurant in Boulder, Co.
Stopped into the Chula Vista location today and had a turkey sub…can’t remember the name, but the first selection on the board.
The turkey on the sandwich was of such abysmally low quality, they should’ve been embarrassed to serve it, and if they gave a rat’s butt about their customers, they would not have.
In the ‘biz’ there are literally dozens of grades of turkey breast to chose from…….as the quality goes up, so does the price per lb, and the owner gets to decide what they want to serve their customer.
I promise you that was the cheapest….if you closed your eyes, put a slice in your mouth, and were given 10 guesses as to what you were eating, turkey would not have been one of them.
If this is representative of the quality of their other menu selections, they should change the name to
Garbage and Brew !!

I’m a Board & Brew fan but I’m disappointed to have been made to wait almost 30 minutes for a single sandwich on a Tuesday afternoon. I went in to ask about my order but was beaten to the punch by one of the staff members that saw me standing there. She announced there were only 2 staff members working in the kitchen and that they were aware orders were taking a long time. Half an hour on my work lunch break is pretty ridiculous if you ask me. If you’re busy then let customers know before they place an order and pay for their food. Food ordered at 12:27 and received at 12:57.

It's a place to drink a beer, there's food and you can stair out the window at the street. Lots of sandwich options, looking forward to next visit and trying pastrami. Jokes are frowned upon or maybe the IQ inhibits the point and punch not sure.
Worth a stop if you wanna try some CA beers and relax.
Plenty to do around this area so go relax and try a beer

I got home w my to go Cobb salad started removing tomatoes realized no chicken! Bummer ,was my lunch for work ! Will head back tomorrow and give it back ! We love this place dont know what happened

Okay I've just about had it with this place. Years ago this used to be my go to spot, but over time the service quality kept going down. They would forget part of my order, usually sides, or simply get the order wrong. I stopped coming for years but decided to give them another shot. Well, they forgot part of my order ... Again. I'm done with this place.

Board & Brew - Eastlake is a gem! I ordered the California Delight sandwich and a Cobb Salad to go, and both were fresh, delicious, and super filling. The ingredients tasted high-quality, and everything was well-prepared. The person at the counter was friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. Great food, great service—I'll definitely be back!
