My family and i are visiting from las vegas and we went to Calianos after st. Patty's day and the staff was awesome. There was a miscommunication on our part and they took care of it. Food in my opinion is one of the best in san diego. Christian, Alfonso, and Aaron handled it very well and their customer service was A1. Thank you guys.

pizza was pretty average . I believe it would have tasted better if it was hot/warm. My favorite reccomendation of caliano pizza is to try the burgers. It seems to replicate a smashburger type style . It had good flavor !
Good spot for a quiet and quick lunch. They have excellent pizza. Two slices and a drink for $10.

Recently found Caliano Pizza after looking at reviews. Awesome place serving NY style pizza, steak subs as good as in Philly. Wings were nicely seasoned not too spicy. Nice selection of draft beers on tap.

The food here is so fresh and put together with love. You can tell in the flavor. The wait times are sometimes a bit ling, but it is always worth it, due to the quality of food that is produced. The perfect hidden gem here in Chula Vista. Everyone is friendly, and you are greeted as soon as you enter the building. Warm and friendly ambiance, definitely a place for the family or to just grab a slice with your buddies. I have tried the pizza, meatball sub, and Philly so far...all delicious. Help this local small business to grow and expand.

This is my new favorite pizza in the area. We had the peperoni and sausage which was excellent. Perfect crust. Thin but not too thin. The sauce and toppings were delicious. We'll definitely be back!

Pizza by the slice done right. Whenever I get a craving for pizza I now crave a slice of Caliano's pizza. Packed full of flavor, hot, greasy and crust is thin, but crispy. Perfection. Service is very fast and to the point. Atmosphere consists of about 8 tables for indoor or outdoor seating and a few tv's usually with sports on.

Also tried their chopped cheese sandwich, it was excellent! Savory, flavorful and spicy, makes me wonder how good their Philly is? which I'll try next, I'll keep you posted...

We are picky pizza eaters in my house. We usually just make our own but once in awhile you just need take out. Caliano pizza is the bomb! BEST pizza place in the south bay!!
Pizza was decent. What was frustrating was the wait. Placed the order online and got a text that said 30 minutes. The text also had a link I could click on to see the progress. Clicked the link after about 5 minutes- no change. We headed to Caliano shortly after that. Arriving about 30 minutes after ordering, we went in and were told another 20 minutes as it was just going into the oven. All in all, we ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes for our pizza. Very frustrating because we would have gone later if the link had been updated with a new time rather than having to sit in the restaurant for that extra time. We won't be back.

So we've heard this pizza spot had the best pizza in Chula Vista... Well we live on the west side and are always looking for great pizza spots so we decided to come here for lunch. WOW! We split a chopped cheese sandwich and instead of adding a side of fries, opted to try a slice of pizza so we could find out what to expect when we order a whole pie to-go later down the road. Short of going to Pizzeria Luigi's or Bronx, the pizza from Caliano's actually fit the bill and passed the test! The pizza was delicious, hot, fresh, great crust, not too oily, had great firmness, and being in our neighborhood was definitely a plus!! Customer service was great! I wish I got the name of the guy who helped us but we'll be back here shortly and I'll try and post a follow-up update to our newest neighborhood find... The ambiance of Caliano's was inviting, neighborhood-like, and their dining room area is open and roomy. It's a 5 out of 5 review at this point! Parking is great! Prices were reasonable, to be honest, my only regret was not finding Caliano's sooner.

I tried this place by chance looking for wings, the wings were delicious but the chopped cheese really sealed the deal for me. So far everything I've tried was delectable and I can't wait to try what else they have. The service was great really friendly and prompt. I loved this place great spot try it out for sure!
