I hate to give this a one star cause I am a frequent customer. The food is good. Just had a horrible service today. I placed a phone order for a pick up and waited. Was told to wait 15 minutes. I waited 20 minutes and then when I went for the food, I sat there for 15 minutes while four employees would just talk amongst themselves. They told me that it would be out in a second after waiting another 10 minutes I then got up and said is the food ready cause I have to leave and they realize that they never even put my order in due to the hostess, having to go back and wanna the employees glancing over at me and then starting to make the order. I believe that if they had better leadership running the employees this problem could’ve been avoided since the food there is quite enjoyable. Hopefully management sees us so that they can take appropriate actions and create a better service for future customers.

I really enjoy dining here. I was introduced to this spot by an older friend and my wife. They had been coming here for years before any of us met (this place has been here for over 20 years). The food has always been on point, the service has always been excellent and everyone is just so nice when we visit. Consistency in these three things is such a hard thing to find these days and the folks at California Sushi deliver, spot on, everytime we have visited. Really love this place. Have been a loyal customer but recently, we've had a few issues with the service. This is the second time rolls came with no Wasabi or Ginger. Sushi is a dish that should always include these items.
