Chipotle Mexican Grill

This is the best Chipotle in San Diego County. Service and cleanliness are outstanding. Excellent playlist and not too loud for conversation. It must be a good place to work as I always see the same workers!!!!

I come to this Chipotle all the time, but after today, I’m seriously rethinking it. I asked for mild salsa and was told they were out. Fair enough—until I watched a worker using it at the online order station right in front of me. I asked if they could grab some from there and they straight-up said no. Not even a “let me check” or “give me a sec”—just no.

Absolutely zero effort, zero customer service. It’s like they go out of their way to be unhelpful. Disappointing and honestly infuriating. Do better.

So I came here to get dinner for my family, ordered 4 bowls to go, I don’t know if just me or if the serving size is getting smaller and smaller. The young girl serving me asked me if I want salsa, I said just salsa and she decided to put all 3 different types of salsa. When the food was being placed on the bowl, she decided to dump everything on one side, then the guy at check out decided to squeeze all 4 bowls and a bag of chips into a small bag and has the nerve to tell me hold from the bottom because it might rip, he could of just easily put it into 2 different bags. This caused all my food to to spill on my way home.

My rating is based on prices are OUTRAGEOUS and containers are EXTREMELY SMALL. Small portions. Small containers are what are used for large-size containers. The guacamole is not seasoned well here. The guacamole at the Roaecrans Store is sooooooooooo good!

First off, I Will not say this applies on EVERY employee there because obviously I haven’t interacted with every employee, however, EVERY employee that I do interact with is plain rude and ignorant. It’s like they’re bothered that you are coming in to order food. They rush you and demand you for your order then when you pay they don’t say anything to you. If you say “thank you” or “have a good day” they simply ignore you and continue talking amongst themselves. Another huge issue I have is the serving amount. I order a bowl with brown rice, pinto beans, chicken, guac and lettuce and I promise I only got 6 or 7 pieces of chicken and maybe 15 singular beans. When I asked for more, a young short man grabbed the spoon, got a spoonful of chicken, then proceeded to shake all but ONE PIECE OF CHICKEN off the spoon and placed the singular piece of chicken on my plate. I understand charging for “extra” however asking for more when you are given basically nothing should not be such an issue and they should be able to comply with your request rather than give you one singular piece of chicken. These issues apply mainly to the short young man, a young woman with tons of makeup and a woman maybe aged late thirties or early 40s with tons of makeup. All three of them have no customer service, are rude and seem to be defending the ingredients with their lives because they give you like 7 small pieces of chicken.

The food quality is lousy whenever the manager is on site at this location. My family frequent this location specifically. We have made the association to just leave when the manager is working. The chips are stale, the salsas are salty and service is lacking. I've noticed the food is much better and consistently good whenever an employee named Tim is working. Our family is not first to notice this association.

I am NOT coming back to this place anymore! My coworkers loves chipotle so i volunteer to order food from this place. I have 4 orders in total. The processing time was fast and efficient! At 12:40 I picked up my food I asked the girl at the register if all of my orders are in the bag and she said yes! She was helping someone and i didn’t bother to open the bag because it was busy in the store and I wasn’t on my lunch yet. So I picked up my food and left. When it was time for us to eat, i realized I’m missing two orders. I tried calling the place but no one was answering. I decided to head back to this place to personally pick up the rest of my order. There was two older Hispanic ladies looking all confused with the orders. I asked one of them, I’m here to pick up the rest of my orders and they asked for my name. They said “oh no orders ready for you one moment “. The girl who originally handed my first bag earlier just walked by and said what’s the name and I said my name… she goes here you go. I was like yes I had to come back twice because you didn’t give both of my orders and all she said was “ooooooh”. Like no sorry or anything. The two older ladies in the back kept laughing and speaking in Spanish while STARING at me. I mean its probably my mistake too that i didn’t check but their actions are rude and wrong.the girl who handed me my order was laughing like it was funny.

We usually attend this location and food is fine, sometimes mistakes are made but the Manager or who ever was the manager on duty today 10/13/2024 around 2pm should not have any business in the service industry. Rude and you can see how other employees that follow his behavior.

This is the best chipotle In the region. Food taste great. The counter is always clean. They work really hard to make sure everyone gets their food fast. The best team works here. They care and it shows caring makes a huge difference.

I've been here a couple times and the food is just typical chipotle criticism. Small amount of protein, mushy rice, hard rice one time (that was the worst?). Foods bussin like 1/5 visits. Usually just mid.
