This place is great! I am so happy to see CT set up another branch in their hometown of Chula Vista! Great place to have some drinks, some food, watch a game. It's a great space. Come on out people!

Waygu Burger was juicy, generous, and delicious, plus the selection of draft beer was very impressive. The atmosphere eptomizes the San Diego Lifestyle, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife had the Sezchuan Chicken Sandwich that was crunchy, flavorful, delicious, and well balanced with the chicken and coleslaw accompanied by ceasar salad side. Overall a great experience, and I even got to see the Padres Game and enjoyed their pretzel bites.

This place is definitely a great place to grab dinner and some drinks with friends. We actually went on a night where they did a collab with Bottle Logic, and each of us got to take home a glass.

The food is pretty good with the highlights being the kimchi fried rice and duck fat fries, and I really appreciate all of craft beers they have on tap. Our server Caro was also super attentive and came by often to make sure everything was still good.

Highly recommend people go if they're in the area or tired of Novo

I had to post a short praise report to Cris and his team placing a gastropub in Chula Vista. This is the second CT following their other successful location in Kearny Mesa. Otay Ranch desperately needed a great restaurant with stellar food and a great draft beer list and they definitely over-delivered!!! If you haven’t checked out CTCV and you live south of the SR-54, you need to visit ASAP! Several buddies of mine met me this week for happy hour (M-F from 3pm-6pm). I tried their popular “Smash” burger which included a small order of fries. Folks, their smash burger is NEXT LEVEL! It was served hot, fresh, a generous portion of fries accompanied my burger. It’s Top 5 in the county for me! Our server checked on our table both often & regularly. Ambiance at this gastropub was great, the night we were here, the weather was great so the garage doors were up, music was at a good volume, groups of both men & women were patronizing here as well as couples, and families. This was official my 2nd visit here, but my first time ordering the smash burger. Cris has other very tempting food offerings on the menu which I’ll be trying the next time I stop in. The fact that Cris came out to hear about how our experience was prior to heading out just confirmed how much he cares about the food, service, and experience we received in case he could do anything else to make his place better. Kudos all the way around for this ultra-happening spot!!! I can’t wait to return! (photos forthcoming on my follow-up review I promise)

Excellent gastropub! Everything was delicious! We had the duck fat fries and the very good fried calamari to start and the mussels, wagyu burger, and chicken katsu. All were great! Highly recommended!

Just disappointed that you cannot put your main entree order yet til the server gets appetizer first for the group because he said he doesnt want to overwhelm the kitchen.

I gave this place two chances to win me over, and it certainly did! It’s now the family’s monthly go to! Great food and a laidback atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit.

Reading the reviews about previous service wasn’t that great, but decided to give this spot a try.

My experience on a busy Friday evening was GREAT! The waiters were always checking up on us, the place was clean bathrooms as-well. We got seated fast, overall service and atmosphere was excellent.

Food- Got the duck fries it was delicious. I would definitely come back again.

POV- I Hope this place opens a Speakeasy like the one in Convoy. ?

Been here a total of three times at this point. First time was for a couple of mock tails. Second time for happy hour specials. Third time for lunch. I love the availability of beers from across the county and rotating selections. To me it seems the Filipino beers are a top seller. The arugula melon salad is excellent and the Sisig bowl rivals the one from White Rice and the one we make at home. I’d come back for that. Calamari is a bit overpriced but good (I buy calamari from the Seafood Market at Seaport Village on Saturdays and make my own so I’m a bit biased). Duck fat fries are different but I’d probably skip them for carne asada fries elsewhere. Overall the food and drinks are great. My recommendations, ensure consumers understand which drinks are mock tails on your menu. The drinks with Lyres rum are not clearly listed as a mock tail and to my understanding Lyres rum is non-alcoholic (please correct me if I’m wrong). Also, not fond of the happy hour timeframes meaning $3 off from 3 to 4pm then $2 off from 4pm to 5pm, etc. Just make it happy hour from this time to this time with no price changes. Makes it easier to follow as a consumer. Verdict: I’ll be back again. Good drink options, great staff, and good food.

Very aesthetically pleasing restaurant. Friendly, gracious staff and a very eclectic menu. We had IPAs, pretzel bites (OMG beer cheese was fantastic) flat breads, burger and kids items! Aside from being a bit warm inside, we loved it. The manager came around asking how it was and was receptive to feedback (hint hint, more wine varieties).

We will definitely be back!!

First time here and had much more fun than expected. Yummy happy hour options. They have trivia on select Mondays and it was a blast, will be back!

Parking: Small designated parking lot in front of restaurant next to park. There are also street parking options. OK if arriving early but might be difficult later at night.
