My daughters and I arrived shortly after the store closed on a Sunday evening and the owner of the shop saw us and opened the door for us. Although his donut inventory was already gone, he had donuts boxed up and offered single donuts for me and my girls. He was so kind. The donuts were delicious and the customer service unparalleled. We will definitely be returning to purchase a dozen donuts from this establishment. This is what customer service is all about. Genuine kindness and a passion for what they do. This is what happened to me last Thursday: I visited Crispy Donut Shop earlier today. I have to say, my experience was quite frustrating. I'd always had great donuts and customer service from the previous owner however, things took a turn when I visited today.
I placed my order for 2- dozen donuts when the new owner decided to skip over me to serve the man behind me. I was taken aback, especially when I asked why this happened and was told it was "the kind thing to do" because I was ordering more than the customer behind me. In addition, I waited for my turn behind two other customers.
Honestly, I found that reasoning baffling. Isn't living by the code "ladies first" the kind thing to do, or maybe that does not apply to people who look like me? I get that the shop might want to keep things moving, but it felt incredibly unfair and even rude. As a customer, I expected to be treated equally, regardless of how many donuts I wanted to buy.
I left without donuts as the owner screamed at me thanking me for my time as I walked out the door.
Maybe I'll give them another shot in the future, but for now, I can only give one star. Let's hope they can work on their customer service!

This Donut shop has the BEST Donuts I have ever had. They are just amazing. The owner and staff are so friendly. I Love supporting a Family Business. They have a large variety too! I love buying them for friends instead of cake!

Nice family run doughnut shop. I had the old-fashioned maple bar. I was larger than most and tasted good. The bar cost me $1.75, which included a couple of doughnut holes.
The shop, although small, offers a good variety of doughnuts. They also affer drip coffee and croissant breakfast sandwiches. The shop offers three tables inside and no outside seating.
The service was super friendly.

This was my first time noticing this little donut shop tucked away in the shopping plaza near Southwestern college. The staff were very friendly and made some fresh lemon filled donuts just for my order as they were just opening up.
I ended up ordering a whole dozen mixed. The donuts were fresh, the box was heavy and the overall experience of biting into my first donut was amazing ?.
