Tried De Cabeza El Único in Chula Vista after hearing great things, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The cabeza tacos and lengua were incredibly flavorful, and the homemade salsa had just the right kick. The drinks and flan were excellent too. Jesús, the owner, made us feel right at home. Really glad we stopped in — this place serves authentic food with a welcoming vibe.

Very chill atmosphere but way nicer than most taco shops. Owner and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Now the food.... I am guilty of sticking to the basics so I tried the asada and pastor tacos since it was my first time. Didn't disappoint!!! The meat had abeautiful char taste in every bite and the smoked habanero salsa is amazing. I cant wait to go back and try his cabeza specialty.

Beware - Had my credit card skimmed at this place. Created a major headache dealing with fraudulent charges. It’s a pity because the food is great. Maybe pay in cash….

I was apprehension about driving all the way to chula from north county but it was so worth it. I got cabeza, lengua, tripa, and cochinita tacos, all were so good with cabeza being my fav! The owner came out to talk with us and he was so nice, you can also hear him singing every once in a while. Feels like family!

I grew up eating tacos in Tijuana my entire life. Critiquing tacos is my specialty. This place has the best tacos de Cabeza in Maybe the Southwest United States. The owner also treats his guests like family. Good place to try Pulque if you've never had it. I recommend the Pulque with Mango.
