I had a milk tea with cheese foam and boba. The boba was pretty good - soft but still chewy. My cheese foam had a weird grainy texture, almost like it was made with a powder and not real cream cheese. They seemed understaffed as I had to wait about 10 minutes to order (and there was only one party ahead of me).

Their boba was alright but I got their bulgogi fries and expected it to be really good with sauce but it was so bland; Ice Box has better bulgogi fries. I feel like this store is just like Tapioca Express, just remodeled with better interior. Overall, there’s better boba places :/

the atmosphere inside is really nice. I ordered the brown sugar matcha and it was delicious. the only thing is that I also ordered the popcorn chicken and it was a bit cold when I received it.

I've tried Dori Boba's drinks twice, and overall, it's been a decent experience. Taro Milk Tea: It was good, a bit sweet for my liking without modifications. The texture, typical of taro milk tea, was slightly grainy but not overwhelming. Boba: Unfortunately, the boba was inconsistent with varying textures--some too chewy, some hard. Seemed like a mix of undercooked, overcooked, and just right. Vietnamese Coffee: Not my favorite; less sweet and a bit bitter compared to what I expected from Vietnamese Coffee. Service has been good, and the cashier is friendly. They offer a 5% cash discount. Despite not being my top choice for boba or Vietnamese coffee, it's conveniently close to work, and I might give it a few more tries. Oh and the interior does have a room for a few people to sit, but I can see how the seating could be uncomfortable if it is really busy.

This place gets 1 star for the service. My party ordered 4 different drinks and NOT one of them tasted good...... sadly we threw away our drinks across the street at the gas station. I really wanted to like this place but whatever they use to make their drinks, it's definitely not good. And the fact that this place gets 4 1/2 stars is crazy to me, I guess people don't know what quality and good Boba is. These are probably the same people who think Jack In the Boxes Boba tastes good.

I was driving home from a long day and was craving sweets, so I decided to try a new boba place close to home. I ordered brown sugar milk tea with fresh boba. The boba itself was fresh and hot, The drink as a whole was okay, maybe because I went 20 minutes before closing and they were rushing to go home? Maybe.. I Liked the cozy vibe and friendly staff. Planning to give it another shot during regular hours and hoping for a tastier experience next time..

Hats off to this new boba spot in Eastlake! Wide array of drink and food items, friendly staff, and the ambiance was pretty cool too (see pictures). I visited just 3 days after they opened and some flavors/ingredients were sold out (but that just means how popular they are!). I ordered the passion fruit green tea and crème brûlée "walling" aka crème brûlée is spread around the cup inside with aloe Vera--both 10/10. Will be back to try more flavors!

Been twice now. We've had Jasmine Milk Tea, Brown Sugar Boba Fresh Milk & Thai tea. I appreciate that they offer oat, almond and soy milk. The jasmine milk tea had a very nice flavor and aroma. Not bitter. I quite enjoyed it. The brown sugar fresh milk was yummy. I've had others elsewhere where I thought the brown sugar taste was better though but we still enjoyed it. The Thai tea was good, nice flavor. The lowest sugar they can do is 25%. The first time the boba itself was surprisingly nice. Good size, served warm, very nice level of softness and chew. Nice level of sweetness as well. Pretty good boba to drink ratio. The second time we went the boba was unfortunately super firm and although the teas were okay the hard boba made the whole drink really unsatisfying to drink so I ended up barely drinking it. My husband did notify them about the undercooked boba and they offered to remake it but said the boba would be the same so remaking it would be pointless. I came back because the first time was great so I gave a 4 overall but coming back two days later the drink is more like a 1. So I've changed my rating from 4 to 3. Due to the inconsistencies I don't know if I'll be back.

Best taro milk tea I have tried in chula vista. The lady who made it was also really nice. The floor seating is cool. They play chill music at a good volume for studying or chatting quietly. Music included The Cure and Tame Impala.

I have two favorites at Dori Boba: 1 is the Passion Fruit-Kumkuat Green Tea and the other is Mango Yogurt. I want to try more. There are so many options. I am grateful we have a local Boba spot. I can't wait to try more flavors. Delicious!
