The place smells like bacteria and the person at the front looks at you crazy when you mention they cross contaminated you're food. I got a vegetarian California burrito and it had meat in it, some I assume which I ate because my stomach is not happy at all! After bringing it up she's just going to say , is that all? Like yes ma'am that's all. I got a refund but now I'm throwing up so avoid this place My boyfriend is not a vegetarian and a he's a chef & mentioned that the meat also smelled weird in his meal.

Chose this Mexican restaurant over the others in Chula Vista as it had the most vegetarian options. The restaurant was clean, quick and exceedingly delicious. Considering coming back to SD to try more options on the menu. Love the old school plane decor, and the hibiscus tea was soothing and tasty. If you want memorable Mexican food this place is delicious.

The place was freezing bc they keep the front door open. We asked if we could close it while we ate and they said no bc the place would become smokey. So the food comes out and our beans are cold, like they were plated a while before they were served. However, the chilaquiles were good and hot. I feel like the place has potential but they need to work on some things. The floor was sticky and the salsa bar lid was gross, and, did I mention that we froze our butts off while we tried to eat our breakfast?

Hands down best ! Love their Catalina burrito. It packed with shrimp and beef and all kinds of yummy goodness! This is a hefty burrito you could cut in 3s or just pig out and eat it all your self! Lol burrito coma

"Absolutely the best burrios in Chula Vista. If you have found this secret hidden on Third ave and Oxford, it's well worth finding. So delicious !

This is a great spot for breakfast tacos and California burritos. Their staff and environment is friendly to all. They make fresh salsa, horchata, and Jamaica. They have a strawberry cheesecake chimichanga that hits the sweet tooth just right! Parking is good, the restaurant is located in a small plaza next to a liquor store, laundry mat, fitness studio, hobbyist store, foot spa, immigration services, barber and nail salon. Oh and a tobacco store! Friendly service each time! :) Follow their IG to see behind the scenes.

Wow oh wow! I am loving this new spot. It's only been open for 2 years and you guys seriously have to try this place. They have huge portions and are very generous with the cheese and guacamole. We got the surf and turf fries the large one and it was more than enough for 3 people. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I like also like that they had perfectly sliced carne some place cut pieces way to small. But not here. The shrimp was perfectly cooked as well and they even devein the shrimp. Which is a huge plus! Can't wait to bring my kids to try out this spot they may just chose this spot over our other spot from now on.

Been in my bookmarks for a while and I tried this place twice. My benchmark for a burrito store is their Cali burrito. This does not disappoint, even with getting the restricted (means smaller) version, I thought the flavor was on point. I usually don't like pico de gallo in my Cali, I'm a purist obvi, but it was delicious in their burrito. I like that they have the restricted option which allows you a smaller portion (think Costco chimichanga size) and the ability to get like a taco without feeling like damn I need to re-think my life choices. I think the hottest sauce goes the best with the Cali but I did end up mixing it with the red one for more flavor. I was so jazzed about the mini-California burrito that I went back a few days later to try the Fuego burrito which many people have commented about. Now, I'm super picky about shrimp but since there seem to be a good number of positive reviews plus the fact that it's meant to be spicy--I hella dig spicy--I thought what could go wrong? The burrito! The fuego burrito could go wrong. It was too salty for me. The chipotle or adobo sauce they put in it is waaaay to smoky for my liking. And that stuff is abundant in the burrito. I was so worried about the shrimp being terrible but that was not an issue cause I can't even tell you if I ate any. All that burrito was about was that chipotle stuff and it wasn't it. It has decent heat but I didn't like the flavor so it was a dud for me. No sauce from the salsa bar could save it, and I'm not sure it even wanted to be saved tbh. I didn't finish the burrito, just couldn't subject myself to unfulfilling calories that I'll have to work off later. I got a fish taco which looked awesome but thought it was mediocre in terms of flavor at best. I don't expect fresh fish but I've never had a fish taco that tasted fishy. The battered fish was fishy. Glad I got the taco so I know to stay away from the fish burrito. I would stick to the Cali from here on out. It's a good spot but I'm not blown away. Yeah I'd come back but would not go out of my way. The hot sauce/salsa is alright and I think I let other shops get away with more because their sauces are fire.

Amazing burritos and tortas. I ordered 2 burritos and a torta for 2 people and it was way too much food but we just couldn't stop eating. I will definitely go back.

These guys need to change location closer to the freeways. The quality and flavor of their food is too good to remain in that slow area.
