Been here several times. It sure changed. Food was decent but service really sucked they brought everything at the same time even the drinks. Never came came to see if we need something else or coffee refills. I ordered 1 menudo, 1 chilaquiles, 1 queso fundido, 2 coffees it was 77$ a little extreme for what the order was. Oh and they also charged me for a cup of water. Be careful with the prices they do not match the menu.

My wife and I were the first customers in the door at 9am.............we were greeted by 3 employees and welcomed in to come and sit down and check out the menu.............service was great...........drinks came right away............food a few minutes later............my wife and I really enjoyed our breakfast and café de olla............really good omelets...........we will definitely be going back.............we have found our new breakfast date spot............if any complaints would be parking if it was a busier time...........but showing up at 9am sharp we parked easily in front.............Thank you El Comal for making breakfast for us............definitely a family place or a date spot for breakfast.............nice clean place with great food service and music

The food is delicious! Authentic Mexican tasting food. The refried beans have an exquisite taste. The chilaquiles are crispy and delectable My mother is very picky when it comes to food and she ate everything on her plate!! She said the machaca was perfectly made. The service is friendly and prompt they accommodate and make you feel welcomed. They have hand made tortillas as well!! The Ambience is refreshing with great music. The hours have been changed they are now open at night. I highly recommend it!

The fajita I ordered was a mix of beef, shrimp, and chicken. The beef was dry and overcooked, and the shrimp was average. The chicken was good, but the flavors were ordinary. I requested no spicy pepper, but I ended up with over a pound of onions.

Mom loves the chilaquiles. Yes they are pricey when you start adding eggs and steak, they do skimp on the portion of potatoes and beans, they could improve their. I have a 1 star because one of the servers was arguing with a clean cut gentlemen that had gone in just to use the restroom. She kept arguing and arguing very loud and complaining about having to clean the restroom.Not a good show, could have been handled better for others in the restaurant, it is a small one room place and the guy appeared very clean cut , when you gotta go you gotta go ( give people a break please, sorry your job includes cleaning the restroom )

The breakfast food was 5 out of 10 salty Chilaquiles and overcooked Mexican style beefsteak, be careful what you order cause they charge every item in the plate separately and not as they show on the picture - good luck with that!
