I went for breakfast at 10am today. There were way too many people waiting, and outside in the parking lot there were empty tables. There's no organization, and the menudo isn't as good as they advertise on social media. Personally, I won't be back.

Only Cash!!! No plastic transactions. Regardless of the comments above or below, in my opinion and experience as a customer, the menudo soup served here is the closest flavor Mexican style, the employees are nice most of them women, if you want to enjoy a good menudo soup in southern San Diego, this is the right place to do it., an alternative to crossing the Mexican Border in Tijuana. The place is small and weekends are packed, parking lot is wide and free, HOWEVER…!! More AC is needed because the place is closed, no ventilation from outside it and gets hot inside especially in summer time.
Menudo was hot and good texture but lacked a lot of flavor. Tortillas were so so. Service was not good, went around noon and they were already out of meat. Which was very disappointing given that some of us were going to eat meat instead of menudo. No other alternatives were offered or accommodated for us. I suggest they place a sign on the door next time, so that people are aware ahead of time instead of waiting to be told once seated.

Got Menudo here and they didn’t add the hominy. I tried adding some to a bowl to see if it a small amount just mixed in but there was nothing.
