First time for me here and now I wish I have come here instead of waiting to be seated as usual at the place I usually go for breakfast. This place was walk right in at 8 15 AM excellent service and the taste of fresh made Mexican breakfast was just what I wanted. Will definitely be back.

I went to have breakfast with a friend. We got seated right away. Friendly, warm, clean atmosphere. Simple menu. I ordered Chile Verde with eggs and homemade flour tortillas and it was EXCELLENT. She ordered a chamoy chelada, chorizo and eggs and was equally very happy. The service was top notch the food delicious. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EL PATIO. ❤️

We loved the place from the moment we walked in. Super friendly staff, the shredded beef burrito with the famous cheese sauce, a must. Chile relleno and tamale combo was great as well. The place has been around since 1954, can't go wrong.

Sad... this place has gone down... food not tasty and savory as before, lack in staff, slow waiter and kitchen... would think twice before going back... its a shame...

Food is pretty good! Service is great! The restaurant is small so seating is limited. Having to wait isn't ridiculous. Maybe 15 minutes at the most.

An authentic experience--eat where the locals do. Be patient, as food is made from scratch. It's worth the wait! Save room for dessert, too!

Classic, old school sit-down mexican food. This Chula Vista institution has been serving customers since 1958. Open for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I am never disappointed by this family favorite.
