I’ve been looking for a new caldo de res place and I have found it. Great ratio of meat to veggies, great flavor. The broth is not too fatty. The meat was beef short rib, which was delicious…and that’s why it was $16 for a plate. Will definitely be back!

I arrived at approximately 1 PM on February 10, 2026. The establishment was quite busy at that time. I inquired with other patrons waiting if they had been acknowledged or greeted. They indicated that they had not.I waited for 5 minutes and left.. It takes only five seconds to acknowledge your guest and inform them that you will be with them shortly. Regardless of your workload, this is an unacceptable response.

This place always feels like home. It reminds me of my mom’s cooking and family dinners. The food is great comfort food—sopes, enchiladas suizas, carne tampiqueña, and chilaquiles are all delicious. The micheladas and margaritas are excellent too. Service is great, the wait is never too long, and the cozy atmosphere wins. Highly recommend!

Update. Try enchiladas suizas Delish Tex Mex Mexican food. Always good food… servers very hit and miss. sometimes nice, other times quite rude. But yes the food is always good. Very busy but great time! Try the Flying Saucer Flautas appetizer = Awesome!

On Sunday 11/09 my wife and two other brothers went there for breakfast, this is the second time we’ve been there. The first time the food and service was excelente. But this last time the service and food was average. The problem is that as I was reviewing my credit card charges I noticed that they charged me $184.10 and the bill was $97.83. That’s more than $86 over. I called the restaurant and they ignored me. I am disputing the charge. And I will never go back.
