The Restaurant was called El Rinconcito, under new owner. We stopped here after a visit to Sesame Street Place, hoping to have some authentic Mexican food. We were not disappointed! Oh my, this place tastes like your authentic San Diego style Mexican food! Amazing meat, topped with some delicious flavorful salsas. I will definitely be back during our next vacation in town!

The best surf and turf burrito in SD. The shrimp in the burrito is absolutely delicious. The mango hot sauce is great as well. As with all mango hot sauces it's very spicy. The horchata is average, it good but nothing special. The salsa they serve with the chips is terrible. I've been many times and it's always trash. I don't understand how they don't know it taste awful considering how good the actual food is. I will be back because the food is legit!

Yummy carne asada fries. Fully loaded with meat, cheese and guacamole. You can also ask for hot sauces.

Chicken is well seasoned, but tacos don't come with onion & cilantro. Burrito is medium-sized and only comes with pico de gallo and guacamole... never tasted or saw the guac.
Cash only. But OMG the food is so good. The sauce they use on the Pollo Asada is, OMG no words to describe how good it is. Great with chips too. Service was amazing too.
Probably the best Pollo Asada I've had.. I love Sante Fe Meats Pollo..but this one that they make from SCRATCH was exceptional!
