It's not bad, but for the price ($12+) for just a burger, you can go to Denny's across the street for $9 for burger, fries and a real sit down experience. Fat Burger used to be good when they didn't try to make it a full service +tip for fast food at takeout style tables.

I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Victor at Hurricane Grill & Wings, and I can’t say enough about the outstanding service he provided. Even while he was training a new bartender—a task that requires patience, multitasking, and strong leadership—he never missed a beat when it came to taking care of us.
Victor was incredibly attentive, professional, and welcoming. It was clear he genuinely cared about both his team and his guests. Despite the added responsibility of training, he kept everything running smoothly and made sure everyone at the bar felt valued and taken care of. Watching him guide and support his trainee with such confidence and poise was impressive—it’s rare to witness that level of dedication and skill in action.
Hurricane Grill & Wings is lucky to have someone like Victor on their team. I’ll definitely be back, thanks to his top-tier service. Give that man a raise—he’s a true asset!

Busy location but restaurant was not busy at all (5pm). Staff was friendly while I waited a couple minutes. Ordered through Uber and food was ready to go exactly as projected. Everything packaged well and did not wait once it was ready for pick up.
Uber menu didn’t seem to show all the options available. When I was inside it looked like they had way more than just burgers. Def recommend going inside to order or better yet, stay and have a beer! Sweet potato fries are an absolute must try, easily the best ones I’ve had from any place in this immediate area for sure.
The signage was little confusing as it looks like it’s two restaurants in one. There is a Fatburger sign on both sides though.
Five guys and in and out take a back seat. The best burger in town is…. Fat burgers. Hands down the best burger. The sides are legit the sweet potato was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, the chili cheese fries were real good. If you’re a shake person I recommend the Maui-banana shake tasted like you were eating banana puddin. If you enjoy your drinky drink well your in luck they have a bar and there voodoo juice was just right.

Parking lot is a nightmare on a Friday night. There are not enough parking spots for all of the restaurants in this shopping center. Don't even bother coming here during a busy time.

I am so happy officially Fatburger is here with everything on the menu! Everything is amazing, and the service is always peak! When i feel like dying i get the XXXL fatburger, and I recommend add any cheese that's not swiss. Swiss is great on the other burgers but devouring 1.5lbs of burger makes it a lil too strong. Cheddar and american though on a XXXL? Absolutely godlike. Also get the shakes!

I've been in San Diego for 20 plus years, and finally, I tried Fatburger for the first time. It's a win in my book and a monster of a burger with great flavor. Better than Whata Burger, and I'm standing on bidness'. 😆
