Wanted to buy Goto and Pancit . I was paying cash 100.00 and they told me they didn't accept the old 100 00. I've never heard of anything so ridiculous. Turned me away because the 100 dollar bill i had was the old one. I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING THERE AGAIN!!! I'm paying cash that I got from my Bank!!

The expiration date on the packaging was so SMALL. I didn’t even notice it when I bought it, so I assumed they were still good. I purchased their reg puto, ube puto, and kutsinta. When I came home and tried the puto I purchased I took a bite and it tasted weird but I didn’t really think anything of it until I opened the ube puto later on. I took a bite of that one and it tasted really bad only to see fuzz on it. MOLD… ? so I gave the other puto an inspection to find black dots on them. I’m very disappointed bc I ate 2 moldy putos lol and almost ate another one. Their kutsinta was okay but expired the next day, so it’s not even worth buying from this place tbh.

UPDATE: Despite being the place where I usually purchase fried vegetable lumpia, I will never visit this store again due to the extremely unsatisfactory customer service I have experienced recently.

Their veggie fried lumpia is the best! We already ordered 2 party trays from them & we keep coming back for more. They add sweet potatoes which we really like making every bite flavorful. We also buy palabok & fresh lumpia often from this store.

I bought $8 of puto and $8 kuchinta at Filipino Dessert at Orange Ave., Chula Vista. The kuchinta so bitter. I can’t swallow it. The puto so white on top but when I took one, there was black spot on the bottom. When I checked the very tiny small print on labels, it expires the next day. Why are they selling them close to expiration date or maybe already expired. I will never ever buy anything there. They are scammers. They should be sued selling rotten desserts.

Delish Sapin sapin don’t taste the same like home. They separate from each other. Otherwise delicious 😋

Please add ube bits on your ube kalamay like you do with your halaya. I tried Mira Mesa dessert plus' kalamay and it was good! It has ube bits too. When I saw that there's dessert plus at seafood city chula vista, I was really happy cuz Mira Mesa is quite a drive. I bought three kalamay (I'm glad I decided to buy 3 instead of 4) and I was disappointed it wasn't the same. The serving is bigger but lower quality. Id rather have smaller serving but higher quality. I'm not paying for the flour. I'm paying for the ube if you know what I'm saying.

The pancit here is the BEST in the south bay! Hands down the most authentic filipino food and deserts that you can find here in San Diego. Great customer service and good vibes. Highly recommend.
