Tucked in a corner known mostly to locals, Garcia's Mexican Food is a hidden gem I discovered through social media. It's small, with limited parking, offering both cozy indoor seating and take-out. Opting for the carne asada plate, I was quickly served by the friendly staff. The food, especially the carne asada, had a great flavor to it. The flour tortillas that came with my meal were also very tasty.Owned by a welcoming family, this place adds a personal touch to the dining experience. I'm looking forward to returning for breakfast. If you're after a spot that feels exclusive and serves great food, Garcia's is it.

If you're looking for authentic, homemade mexican food, YOU NEED TO COME HERE! I had the chile relleno/enchilada combo and it was absolutely magical . As an added bonus, the Garcias are simply the sweetest people ever and will treat you like family which is like the cherry on top to an already perfect meal.

The food was amazing and tasted like true home made Mexican food. It's hard to find places that provide that authentic Mexican taste, so this was a sweet surprise. The service was outstanding! Definitely coming back very soon.

Homemade, fresh ingredients from scratch recipes. Even beans, scratch recipe. I cook al lot, so could tell. I had ask and owner (the cook) confirmed. I recommended to my family and Everyone agreed, food excellent! You can't eat bad here!

I've traveled the county, and then some! Looking for some good, home made chicken soup. I must say, mostly disappointed. Many establishments claiming supremacy of traditional dishes and "king of soups," yet falling short, waaay short of such claims. I've encountered rotten veggies, cold soups, shortage of meat/ chicken, high prices, bad customer service... and the list goes on and on. Finally, found a solid place to order some good old fashioned chicken soup! Just the right portions, friendly customer service and excellent prices! I'm always on the run and the wait was not long. Everything was excellent from the chips, the salsa, the rice all the way to the veggies and chicken. If you are looking for excellent chicken, or beef soup, this is the place (PERIOD)

Loved our lunch at Garcia's! I had the chile rellenos and enchilada combo, and I had to try the potato taco! My husband had the bistec rancheros with cactus. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding! Highly recommend!

I stumbled upon this place while getting car maintenance. I was a little confused when I came in but this small restaurant really goes out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable and taken care of. The workers were very kind, hardworking, and humble.I only got a bean and cheese burrito because the other places near did not have any vegetarian options. They also told me they have a veggie and chile reyeno burrito. You can really tell they love what they do and want to succeed. Definitely a small business I’m willing to support.ALSO! Chips and salsa!! They have a bunch of drinks in a fridge with sugar free options. Salsa was *chefs kiss*. Will be back my next paycheck XD

Excellent lunch today at Garcias. This place is so tiny and I love it! Only has about a half dozen tables. I got myself a number 13 combo and the hubby got the two enchiladas combo and added a potato taco, I loved the chips and really hot sauce (I ate it all and ordered more). I love the selection here! They have literally as much as a convenience store. Can't wait to go back. PS: The beans and rice can't get much better

Best breakfast burrito in south Chula Vista! Small family based food business restaurant.
