Good sandwich, strange showdown at the counter.
I ordered the lobster and crab grilled cheese — and it was actually pretty good! No complaints about the food.

But the customer service… wow. When I walked in, the lady at the front didn’t say a word. I looked at the menu, stood at the register, and we basically had a silent western-style showdown — just staring at each other until I finally broke the ice and said “hi.” She said “hi” back like it was a hostage negotiation.

When my food was ready, she simply said “lobster and crab sandwich,” handed me the bag, and… nothing. Not a “thank you,” not a “have a good day.” Just silence. At that point, I refused to say anything either — we were both too deep into it.

The sandwich saved the experience, but if I were management, I’d definitely recommend a few social studies or communication classes. A smile and a “hello” go a long way.

Horrible horrible! We used to visit the Irvine location weekly. However, this location continues to go downhill in so many ways. No functional bathrooms for years just marked as being out of order. Tonight the soda machine I noticed was also out of order. The last several times I have gotten attitude when I have ordered two items to go at 7:30 PM when they close at 8 PM. Tonight I placed an order through the app at 7:25. When I arrived, they had not received it and at 7:40, which was one it was supposed to be ready. They stated that they had not received the order for my two items and refused to make it because it was too close to closing. The location wasn’t scheduled to close for 20 minutes. If you are not going to make items 20 to 30 minutes before closing, then go ahead and close the store.Horrible!!! I will not be back!

This place is really good, it's a must try I highly recommend the country Mac and the Buffalo Mac these 2 are my favorites every time I come by.

The grilled cheese is terrific! The bread was so delicious, even the multigrain one. The fries are nice and crispy. We did takeout and the fries did not disappoint!

DO NOT COME HERE!!
Worst food I've ever had. I ordered the Birria Mac & Cheese, it came with maybe a tablespoon of birria at most. The Buffalo Fries were even worse, a few burnt pieces of chicken drenched in oily sauce. Nothing like what they advertise. Save your money and go somewhere else please
