This place is awesome! I was so excited to learn I loved only a few minutes from this place so whenever I’m craving Filipino foood I can just walk down the street and satisfy my craving! Definitely recommend any of their silogs and their lumpia. Their classic Halo Halo is pretty good also!

Nothing better than an iced dessert on a hot day. They have different options to choose from -- customizable ice cream flavors, no bean options, etc. I chose to get the one with all the toppings and pandan ice cream! It was so refreshing and delicious.They also sell hot food and snacks, and they have tables located inside to sit and enjoy the food.

The people that run Halo-Halo Cafe are always so nice and welcoming. I haven't tried one thing on the menu that I didn't like yet. My go-to order is the Bistek. It's really good! If you enjoy Filipino cuisine then definitely give Halo-Halo cafe a try.

So, I was in the Navy and Blessed with being able to travel to the Philippines. I was even sent there on temporary orders for 2 weeks and I love the food and culture. I am a huge fan of Pancit Bihon and chicken odobo. I've eaten at most of the Filipino restaurants in a 25 mile radius over the last 20 years. To include all of them in National City. This is the best food out of them all. No bones in their adobo plenty of veggies in the pancit and hold on.... I'm saving the best for last.... their lumpia both beef and chicken are superior to anything I've ever had. If you haven't tried it you're missing out. Halo Halo isn't just ice cream.

I ordered from this place a couple of times now. The first time, I ordered Kare Kare and it was delicious! This time, however, the rice came out super sticky as if it was made for sushi rice AND they forgot to pack shrimp paste. If you're Filipino, you know shrimp paste goes with the Kare Kare. I really wanted this place to be my go-to for my favorite Filipino dish, but sadly this isn't it.

Wow! Amazing crispy pata. So good! I will definitely order again. It's so much better than 'Max's. Their crispy pata is crispy on the outside and yet soft & moist inside. Yummy!

The ambiance is very casual and is a good place to get not just dessert, but also some Filipino dishes. They also have some supermarket filipino snacks and goods for convenience if Seafood city is too far for you during the day!Service is very quick and I like how they apologize for the wait, even though for myself at least, the "wait" is much quicker than I anticipated during my multiple visits to the cafe during my lunch time.
We ordered catering for an office event at a medicalfacility for one of our doctors birthday and the food was burnt. This is the second time. Pancit was drowning in pepper.

This is one of two locations in Chula Vista. This one happens to be right in front of where we live. It is one of our go to spots for Filipino food and desserts. The food is great when it's fresh! The services is quite good as well. Their staff is very friendly and they have a great selection of hot food, desserts and even a good amount of quick grocery items. When I need something and don't want to drive across town to the Filipino Grocery store I'll pick something up here. The store is very clean and a good place to eat in or do take out.
