Today we stopped by Handel’s Ice Cream in Otay Ranch 🍦. My daughter was so excited with her cone… but it slipped and fell 😢. As a dad, my first reaction was to correct her — but before I could, one of the staff members gently stepped in and gave her a brand new one, no questions asked 🙏.
That small act turned a tough parenting moment into something beautiful. The ice cream is amazing (so many rich, creamy flavors), but what really stood out was their hospitality and kindness.
Highly recommend — not just for the flavor, but for the heart behind it. 🤍

They do not give out samples and the portion size isn't great! Ice cream taste amazing though.

Received some coupons and decided to give this place a try. Skeptical is an understatement, thinking this place is overly hyped and is probably expensive and not very good.
I couldn't be more mistaken. No frills place, very clean, great staff and portions are very generous.
Had a flight (4 different flavored scoops) and was blown away by the texture, the depth of flavor, the butter fat, and generous inclusions. I'll be back

The ice cream was good, but what kind of ice cream place doesn't allow samples? That's at least 1/2 the fun. Probably wouldn't return unless they change the policy.
