I do NOT recommend coming to this restaurant. The manager was very rude and disrespectful because we told them that they got our order of drinks wrong. It even seemed like one of the waitresses didn't want to serve our group (16 of us). They all need to fix their attitude. Don't work in food service if that's how you're going to act with your customers!!

I highly DO NOT recommend this place if you would like to be disrespected by the manager. The manager is a male & I'm not sure if his name is Ray or Juan.Recently, the service has been not great. Today, was the worst. My family & I would come here all the time & now we won't be coming back. I tried calling beforehand to let them know that there will be 16 of us coming in & that was requested on their website that we do call in beforehand so they are prepared. However, when I called, a woman answered & when I said "I just wanted to let you know that 16 of us will be..." she hung up the phone. The waitress who was servicing us was not listening to our orders & gave us the wrong drinks. She looked like she did not want to serve our big group when we are paying customers and been here multiple times before. After we tried correcting her, she still said that we did order it, when we in fact did not. She proceeded to bring the correct drinks, but when we got the check, the wrong drinks were on our check & we let her know. She then brought her manager in the conversation & let us know that we did order those, when he was not the one taking our order, so how would he know. He also said "I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to her" to one of my family members. The manager was very disrespectful & should not be a manager if that's the way he treats his customers. The waitress should not be in customer service as well, her demeanor & service was not nice.

Expensive. And poor quakity of food. Service poor not clean tables to eat on. The server didn't know the food menu. Stale chips and day oldvor mire salsa. Meat overcooked just poor dining experience. Will never return. Really bad review. Dont waste your time. Money, or appetite!

Went back to Hector's Mariscos after 2 years. I was here on a Friday afternoon with a party of four. Dining area has not changed but it was clean and organized. We were greeted by a smiling host and waitress. After getting seated, we were immediately served a basket of warm tortilla chips and delicious and tasty side of fresh salsa. We ordered the fried calamari and half dozen oysters as appetizers. The calamari was fresh and it was a well served amount that came with a side or tartar sauce. The oysters were also fresh and delicious! Prior to getting our entrees served, we were served a delicious "consome" (cup of seafood broth). Our main dishes consisted of Shrimp Enchiladas, a "parrillada" (surf n turf) with a New York steak and battered shrimp, a plate of grilled shrimp and a large Coctel "campechano" which consisted of shrimp, oysters, octopus and scallops. The enchiladas were stuffed and full of flavor. The steak was perfectly cooked to a medium which is how we ordered it. With the exception of the cocktail, the other three dishes were served with rice and refried beans and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. The only thing that we noticed were the shrimp, both battered and grilled were somewhat under seasoned. After this visit I have to say that I will be back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for some Mexican Seafood with the option to dine in.
The food I ordered wasn't good at all. The carne asada lacks flavor. Never eating there again.

The food is absolutely delicious. I read a review that said they had the best 7 mares soup. It was delicious. The waiter said if I didn't like it he would pay for it. Great service, friendly and very professional. Checked on the table several times. Can't go wrong.
