I've been here several times. Service is very attentive and the food is good with generous portions. They are accomodating of dietary restrictions. There are lots of vegetarian options. The restaurant is decorated colorfully and Himalayan music plays in the background.

Went to the Himalayan House restaurant on Valentine's Day. There were fresh red roses and balloons on each table. The service was excellent and the food was 10/10! The portions were ample, the entrees we ordered were incredibly delicious. I took home what I couldn't eat, and when my daughter tasted it decided she wanted Himalayan House for her birthday dinner on Sunday! The takeout was just as good as the food served in the restaurant! This is my family's new favorite restaurant in San Diego CA.

Wasted so much time here. Ordered for my food to be ready at 227 pm and they were closed from 2-3. Food was mid too. Go to the himalayan spot inside chula vista mall it is way better.

I do not think , I would ever visit this place again. We had ordered chai , samosa and chutney . Following which , I had one of the worst gastroenteritis , from which I am still recovering.

Ordered the shrimp curry and rice. Also ordered the garlic naan bread. I truly believe the shrimp curry was the best curry I have ever eaten. I also tried the chicken curry which was ordered without spice and it was great too.

With the meal came a bowl of Lentil soup. This was also very delicious.

We ordered 2 orders of Naan bread which was pictured in the video.

Everything tasted so fresh. Highly recommend this place.

I can honestly say this place has the best curry and butter chicken sauce that I've ever had! The sauces are bursting with delicious flavors!! The spicy levels are 1-5 we had an order of mild spice and a 4! Both were very enjoyable!! The spices and chicken taste fresh and made to order! The butter naan bread goes perfectly with the curry and is served warm and delicious! The lentil soup comes with the meal and is served as an appetizer. I have never been fond of lentil soup till I tasted this one! It is so full of flavor! I can't say enough about the food! Service is fast and friendly, the atmosphere is traditional and colorful with cool OM light shades over the table. We had a great dinner experience.

We passed by one day and my bf wanted to try it. Best decision ever. The food was amazing, the staff is so nice, and the place is great! We loved it. We tried the chicken curry, butter chicken, the butter naan and the garlic cilantro naan, and the chicken momo. It ended up being too much food for the two of us and we took some home. But I definitely recommend it, and will be returning in the future! Also, our favorite two items were the butter naan and the butter chicken!

While location might make is seem sketchy, the food is absolutely delicious and about as authentic as I have had since visiting Japan. Would strongly suggest this restaurant to anyone who is looking for authentic North India/Nepalese curry.

The food is great. The service is great. Akshaj is so helpful and the cooking is great. This is One of the best restaurants to go to for the price thank you good restaurant

Their daal is to die for, naan is great, curries are hit or miss but generally good. Skip the biryani.
