Kalei’s Kitchenette

We ordered Kalei's Kitchentte for our company holiday party to try something new. We usually play it safe with tacos, so we were a little nervous about stepping outside everyone’s comfort zone, but it ended up being a HUGE HIT!!

Everything was absolutely delicious! The macaroni salad was the first thing to disappear. We should have ordered a large because people went back for seconds immediately and it was gone before I could get seconds haha.
The sliders were incredibly flavorful and a personal favorite for me as they were easy to grab and eat while working the holiday party, the huli huli chicken and kalbi ribs were so tasty, and the vegetable lumpia were a crowd favorite too! The Chicken Katsu was crispy and delicious and the pork lumpia and cucumber salad were also very good!

People kept coming up to say how good the food was, and we were so happy we decided to try something different this year.

On top of that, working with them was easy and stress-free. Their online portal made communication and payment clear and simple, which we really appreciated when planning a larger event.

We will 100% be ordering from them again and would highly recommend Kalei’s Kitchentte to anyone looking for a delicious catered meal for an event.

We got the Huli Huli chicken, teriyaki beef and kalua pork. Everything was delicious. I had ordered a side of macaroni but got rice instead so I'll have to come back to taste the macaroni.

I love this place! Come at least once a week. Atmosphere feels like a real local spot on the islands. Chef Andy is always dishing out great specials, so look out for that.

Top Notch! The food was amazing. The service was impeccable. We did a pick up catering order for 100ppl. The food was ready and on time for pick up. I would highly recommend for any type of catered event. Definitely shared our great experience with family and friends.

Wonderful food! I am so happy I found it! The pickled cucumber salad is absolutely amazing! What a wonderful twist on Hawaiian cuisine.

Incredible Hawaiian food. All their dishes have that it factor that sets them apart from your regular Hawaiian spot. Chef Andy and his team also did an amazing job catering a big family event of ours as well. Can’t recommend this spot enough!

We’re so glad we found this place! We love Hawaiian food but it’s hard to find authentic options outside of Hawaii. The pork was tender and flavorful, the mac salad was spot on, and it paired perfectly with the sticky rice. Highly recommend.

The Hulu Hulu chicken is my favorite. Best in SD IMHO. Small restaurant in PQ, but worth a try for authentic Hawaiian food.
