We usually patronize the location in North Hollywood, but my fiancé and I were in the Covina area and decided to stop by. The food was decent, ( it was hard to enjoy due to such unwelcoming vibes) but the service was outright unacceptable—cold, rude, and unwelcoming. As minorities, we expected respectful treatment, especially since we are minorities as well. There were others who arrived after us and they were served and fed before us. Our waitress was dismissive and only approached our table after we had to signal repeatedly. Our bill was $75 for three dishes and two drafts, and we will never return. I want other PEOPLE OF COLOR to be aware of the discriminatory treatment we experienced at this restaurant. You will not be made to feel welcomed or respected during your visit. TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Krua is our go to Thai food in the Southbay. Seriously, their flavor and authenticity can't be beat. We've been happy customers for years. We love their noodle dishes like Pad Sew Ew and Pad Thai. They have amazing curries too. Our favorites are yellow, red, green and pineapple curry. My personal favorite is the Tom Kha. Krua reminds me exactly of the food we experienced in the markets during our travels in Thailand. A must.

This restaurant is a MUST try. I love the drunken noodles, the way they make their tofu is literally the best I’ve had. This spot is a gem 💎

We came for lunch and had the special which came with an herbal soup, little side salad and portion of Drunken noodles and Pad Thai. 11/10! The soup was incredible, felt like medicine to my body, very earthy. Had cabbage, Thai herbs, carrots, zucchini, and bay leaves. The noodles were cooked perfectly, seasoned amazing. I asked for medium heat and they delivered! Not to spicy but a good kick once it goes down. Coming back very soon!!

Best Thai food in Chula Vista in my opinion! I always get drunker noodles, tofu always cooked perfectly, and sticky mango rice is a must also! Super authentic family owned.

Food was delicious. The pad Thai was so flavorful. We had an amazing eggplant dish that was so good and red curry.
The owner was super friendly and provided great service.
I peeked at the kitchen and it looked really clean.

Shows open until 9. I Rrived at 3. They are jist closing. Update hrs.
We stopped by this place, and wow, the food was really good! The flavors were spot on — everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. I especially enjoyed the red curry; it was rich and flavorful without being too spicy.
There was a long line when we arrived, which shows how popular this spot is. Just a heads-up, they don’t have any sit-down dining — it’s all to-go orders only. My food took about 30 minutes to be ready, so it wasn’t super quick, but you can tell they take their time to prepare everything carefully.
Overall, if you’re okay with waiting a bit and want tasty food with bold flavors, this place is definitely worth trying!
Small family owned restaurant with amazing food. Most of menu can be made gluten free. Service was great with one negative, we had to wait over half an hour after we were done eating because our waitress was dealing with pick up orders in between tables. So while I would definitely eat there again, I would ask for the check up front and pay immediately so I don't have to wait too long after I'm done eating.

This place deserves 0 stars. Trust me when I say say you don’t want to eat here. I bought take out on Friday, 04/18/25, and my Fried Pad Thai Rice had worms/ maggots in it. We saw them after we had eaten our food. My husband is currently sick experiencing, vomiting, diarrhea, and fever. He is now having to go to the doctor. This is completely unacceptable, unsanitary and a health risk.
