Pan dulce was amazing!!! I’m going find out how the birote bread with carne asada and beans, can’t wait!!!😋
Please do not buy your birthday cakes here extremely disappointed I was confronted by a rude office manager and an extremely rude cook. They refuse to update the cake that I asked be decorated with some icing to make it look like a birthday cake extremely rude please beware
The bakery set up improved a lot, but the price of items became too expensive. I used to buy the pineapple pie/empanada because of its delicious crust, but it tastes different now. They changed the quality. The Choco muffin seems like not real, just w/ coloring, lots of sugar on it & a bit of choco chips. Sorry, but I'll just go back to 85 degrees, guality is more worth the price.
Amazing bread, but employees need more training, Kim was rude from start to finish. Insisted on me to hurry up as it was closing time. Love the product, but employees need improvement.
It pains me to write this review :/ because the pan dulce is delicious but my dismay with the employees has to be noted. This review is solely directed at the staff that works there in particularly the short lady that who attends the customers at the front counter that always seems to be giving me an attitude. Incident happened today Sunday the 5th around 9:00 am. As I purchased almost 100.00 worth of pastries (rosca, pans dulce, coffee, empanadas) I was waiting for
My coffee to be served to me (vanilla latte) as
She asks me what I was waiting on and I
Told her my coffee then she starts hounding her co workers asking who had helped me made a huge scene… then asked me if I had already ordered and paid for it and I replied yes, I felt that was very unnecessary and I felt very uncomfortable. What was the point of that. One of the other staff members was already preparing it for me a minute later the nice employee who helped me gave me my cup of coffee then I proceeded tell her that she had forgotten my empanadas rolls her eyes and starts badgering her co workers. This lady needs to find another profession. Shes frustrated and depressed and seems to
Be taking it out on the customers..
I will not be returning.

This is my family's favorite bakery in San Diego! They have perfected both their sweet and savory breads, and the staff is always welcoming and kind! We look forward to stopping by every weekend to get some fresh bread.

Would highly recommend this bakery, the cake is delicious. The cake was perfectly spongey and the frosting was so unique, with a hint of cinammon. 10/10

Better off going to Northgate to get the same bread at a cheaper price never have I ever seen over price Mexican bread in my life. it’s an insult to my culture. I had to walk out besides they have nothing Intriguing with getting.. go to Valerios bakery in national city $13 goes a long way. After seeing a concha for $3 here I was disgusted.

I liked it. the flavor of the concha even though they exaggerated the prices. But lately, bread tastes horrible like butter, oil with a bad taste. I don't know what's wrong with them. Since they charge a lot for the bread, they are making it worse lately, I bought the cream cheese empenadas. This is the second time that taste of poor quality oil tastes bad to me. And I just bought some pieces of sweet bread and that little taste came back and not just to me. If not, my family noticed that taste of poor quality. What a shame that they raise the prices a lot and they also add ingredients like oil and one of the women who served me told me that they also use butter, I don't know what kind but butter.
