I went to go eat at the Buffet next door in the same mall. I was in a bit of a rush to my next appointment so I saw Mariscos and my mouth started watering. I came in and wasn't greeting. I actually had to use the restroom so I asked politely and also mentioned I was going to eat there too. So I ordered shrimp ceviche. It was horrible, it was old precooked shrimp mixed in with Pico de Gallo. I had to add lime, hot sauce and ketchup to doctor it up. I got a can of coke and a bowl of shrimp ceviche and payed over $30. I can make better ceviche. Should of went to the buffet in that strip mall. The host/cashier was really nice though.

The truth is that the food is good. We ordered some octopus. The price on the menu says 24.99 and they came out with the bill that each octopus cost double. The menu never says half an octopus. That's a rip-off. Thx

Great food but the service is terrible and there is no English spoken. This is a genuine Mexican seafood restaurant as has all the dishes you find in Mexico.

I recently dined at Mariscos La Perla Negra and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. I ordered the lobster dish, which came with a hefty price tag of over six hundred dollars. To my dismay, the lobster was far from the high quality I expected. It was overcooked and lacked the freshness and flavor that a dish of this caliber should possess.Adding insult to injury, I was surprised to find that a tip had been added to my bill without my consent. As a customer, I believe it is essential to have the choice to determine the tip amount based on the quality of service received. It was disappointing to see this lack of transparency in the billing process.Overall, my dining experience at Mariscos La Perla Negra was a letdown. The exorbitant price I paid for subpar lobster, coupled with the unwelcome addition of a tip without my permission, left me feeling unsatisfied and disrespected as a customer. I hope the restaurant will take steps to improve both the quality of their dishes and the transparency of their billing practices in the future.
