It's my first time having food here, i ordered the rainbow roll and the fish tasted nice and refreshing as all fish should. I also had chicken teriyaki bowl and I was planning on saving it for lunch but after one bite of the chicken, I have no leftovers for tomorrow I will definitely have to try more from their menu

Ordered a Hulu signature bowl. The Tuna was old, hard and stringy. There was also hardly any Tuna in the bowl. Very disappointed as this was my first time getting food from this place. I would not eat poke bowls here for sure.

first time customer got got teriyaki chicken, chicken combined with sauce carrots, broccoli, and rice combination was good but salty didn't quite make you want to say Yum. It's more ahh I told chef about it I didn't really think to care. It's sad. Some people can't have so much in their food. They measure their salt when prepare food not going there again it's not worth it for the price I spent close to almost $19 including tip with a soda can of diet with chicken teriyaki if anyone wants to go make sure you do not have high blood pressure any other health issues cause assault will kill you the aftertaste is still there. Sadly, I had to go to a liquor store nearby to try to get a taste out of my mouth. Sad. Sad customer.

I eat a lot of sushi all over the world. In Chula Vista we split time between Nori and Leo's. Last visit, in Feb 2024, Leo's blew me away. Especially the nachos. We had 9 dishes: chicken teriyaki bowl, Karage bowl, Chirashi bowl, poke bowl, and sushi nachos. As well, had cucumber salad, seaweed salad, and two other apps. Everything was amazing, but the Nachos blew everyone away. They have a nice all day happy hour and definitely worth a try if you're looking for something fun and delicious. Wish I had taken pics this trip. Next time...

It's my second time eating at leo's. The sushi is good. But the reason for the 3 stars is because the kids teriyaki bowl was not great. I ordered it with the sauce on the side, there was a mix up and they had to re make the bowl. When the teriyaki bowl came out the chicken looked unappetizing. It seemed like the chicken was boiled. The chicken was dry and there was no flavor. Will not be ordering that again.

Vegetarian here - food was delicious and fresh. Many vegan choices making it enjoyable to have dinner with the family of non vegetarians. Service was pleasant and timely. Small location so happy we went early as it was overflowing by 6:30pm.

Sushi was a no go Took forever to get food when we were the only ones there Had high hopes given the reviews..... but there are better authentic sushi places in the same area

Love their happy hour and the rolls are usually very big! The service was great too. The space is a little small so maybe not for a group dinner but if you're meeting up w a friend or going on a date, its perfect.

Since moving to Otay Ranch, we have been looking for a yummy and decently priced sushi place for take out! We love Leo's kitchen, especially their platter deals which are well priced and the arrangements are beautiful! My husband and I can eat a lot of sushi so we need to find a place that has a good deal on their sushi rolls. We usually call or order online which is convenient and quick! The rolls are unique and fresh. My favorite roll is the lemon cilantro and protein roll wrapped in cucumber. The person who works the counter is always nice when I pick up. Thank you for being in our little neighborhood!

Haven't been here in over a year because I thought it was overpriced last time I was here. BUT came in because of the happy hour sign to see what was new. Surprised to find better prices good food and great service thank you and I will definitely be coming back more oftenPictured is the happy hour spicy California roll, great but the Chula vista roll is next.

Traditionalists will of course have issues with their fusion of flavors and approach. Not me. I like it every time. Their sushi platters are worth it and give it a five for their food, service, cleanliness, and presentation. Their poke bowls are pretty good too, although a bit pricey. Excellent choice for lunch, happy hour, or a big party.
