This place is the best for authentic Puerto Rican food. Now that i moved from the tri-state area good PR good is hard to find in San Diego. This tastes like I'm back on the island in my abuelita's house. Just a great food experience all around. Can't recommend it enough!
The food was amazing. So good in fact it didnt last long. Makes me miss being in puerto rico.
Great experience the flavor super nice. My only complaint is that they close too early other than that the best puertorrican restaurant that I have tried in California. Highly recomended.
The first time trying this place out. Nervous and it came out a bit pricey but it was quick and when I tell you I would pay the price over and over again. So delicious, and a great amount. We had the arroz con gandules with pernil and arroz con gandulez with chuletas and of course a flan de coco. It's hard to find good puerto rican places, so we're so glad we found this Gem!!
My son and I just ate at LoLatina omg ty so much it taste amazing I called my mom asap and told her she has competition. Lol.. so grateful to have a piece of home near us. We will be back asap!!!
buen servicio buena comida sitio cómodo
Authentic! The flavor is decadent , reminds me of my wife's family cooking who is from Puerto Rico ??.
I'd recommend the tripleta, it'll fill you up, great taste, and very friendly staff. Highly recommend this place?
A taste of Puerto Rico in southern California ??
There's not a lot of Puerto Rican restaurants in San Diego so I was really hopeful when one opened up near me that it would be good. It's not good- it's GREAT! The arroz con gandules is delicious and the perníl is perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy. I also tried the panatostones, which I had never tried before and they were crisp, airy, and addictive. I'd post pics of the food but I ate it as soon as I got it because it smelled too amazing to wait. TRY THIS PLACE.

Me encanta este lugar! Love the Puerto Rican food at LoLatino! Give yourself some time for this place. Everything is made fresh. Provecho!
Just had alcapurrias, mofongo, tostones, Malta India y flan de coco. The food was great. The seating is outside on picnic benches and umbrellas. The music was on Radio Puerto Rico y it got my hips swaying as I'm waiting for the food and while I'm eating too. The wait could be a tiny bit too long for some folks but we Boricuas fry everything practically, so it takes a bit longer. Also, the cashier was a total sweetheart and people in the kitchen all smiles hard at work. It was great being around my peeps and good food to boot!
Alcapurrias werent like when they first opened, and im bummed about that ? i wanted to have them cause i had remembered how good they were and the relleno de papas were so so everything needed more salt and flavor ?? besides that everyone is super chill and cool!!
I was so excited to try the Mofongo. Being from Aguadilla and now living in Ca we drove 2 hrs for this. If you know Mofongo you know how dry it is. This Mofongo didn’t come with caldo this was a huge disappointment the flavor was also lacking.
I've been waiting to come to this place for a while every time I had a chance it was always during the days they are closed Monday or Tuesday. Definitely worth the wait ? customer service was amazing the food was fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend you come and try it for yourself.
