We were there for breakfast so everything was fresh there were 3 /4 types of salsas, and the guacamole was very good. We had breakfast burritos and they were delicious everyone had no complaints and we were all satisfied with the size and portions of our burritos. We would definitely go there in the future.

I actually stopped coming to this taco shop years ago because of poor customer service, and unfortunately, today reminded me exactly why.

I decided to give them another chance, hoping things might have improved. The food was fine, but the service was disappointing. I politely asked for a couple salsa packs to go, and the employee refused even though there was literally an entire bucket of salsa packets sitting right behind her. It wasn’t a complicated or unreasonable request, just basic customer service.

It’s frustrating when something so small and simple becomes an issue. Moments like that make customers feel unwelcome, and it’s exactly the kind of experience that made me stop coming here years ago.

I really wanted to give this place another shot, but based on today’s interaction, I won’t be returning.

Very good food, I enjoy California burrito, but other options are tasty too.

Love the red sauce.

I can’t express in words how much I hate this place. The food is terrible, you never see Mexicans eating here. The attitude of the staff is appalling, the service is garbage. Everyone who works here is lazy, gross, and rude. It’s always dirty in here and this is for sure the last time I’m coming here. They charge over $18 for the carne asada fries and hardly give you any meat or condiments. This place is a JOKE I honestly have no idea why or how they are still in business.

A South Bay classic. I’ve had Mexican food all around the world. Being completely honest Lolita’s is an American interpretation of regional Mexican food but this is still some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I’m terms of American Mexican food Lolita’s is amongst the best. Many argue that it isn’t the best, but without a doubt amongst the best. The carne asada fries, California burritos, super rolled tacos, crispy beef tacos are highly recommended! Their red salsa is again, amongst the best I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. It’s simple, very flavorful, and almost always busy. I recommend ordering ahead to avoid long wait times. There isn’t much seating available indoors so be prepared to take it to go.

The wait was worth it but now I can order on the app and pick up my food on demand.

My go to order is a Carne Asada burrito and a side of beans plus an order of three chicken rolled tacos w/ sour cream. Lolita's is consistent and fresh. In Chula Vista we have lots of options for Mexican food but time and time again Lolita's keeps bringing the flavor to the table.

If you're new or bring a crew, order the carne asada fries and a couple of California burritos. Thank me later! There's a reason this place has been in business for 40+ years!

Never thought I'd say this, but this place has gone completely downhill. These locations were a staple in San Diego Mexican food for years but it's just not what it used to be. The last few times I've came I order a Carne Asada burrito but they seem to consistently give me a thin bean and sour cream burrito. The owners greed has cost this place it's soul, If I could give it a negative star I would. That's how much I'm disappointed with what's left of this place. This place went from Lolita's Taco Shop to No-lita's taco shop.

Workers were a little rude. Maybe just having a bad day. I should start asking for names to post here
